Summary: "The Return" is one of Star Trek's best!!!
Review: "The Return" is my favorite Star Trek novel. Shatner's plot with the Borg and the Romulans is ingenious. Plus, with the brainwashing factor, it partially answers the question: If Picard and Kirk got into a brawl, who would win? Even if it was, in my opinion, a stalemate. Plus, Shatner's prologues and epilogues are like none other I've read. "The Return" begins with Kirk's death on Veridian III, much like "Avenger" starts with the end of "The Return". Shatner has done a great job on this series, and I can't wait to read "Spectre".

Review: The Return was the first book I have read by Shatner and I think it was great! I am planning on reading Avenger. In The Return I almost thought Spock was really assimilated. It was GREAT!!

Review: Hey, this book is one of the best, but I must say that to bring Kirk back to life again (kind of) is pretty stupid. I don't think Shatner should have included the borg in his reincarnation. He could have had them come into the picture later. I think the brainwash or something like that was a great idea. Even the going after Picard was a good idea. I love Kirk, I mean my e-mail address even has his middle name in it. It was a awesome book.

Review: William Shatner uses his wonderful imagination to bring back Captain Kirk from the dead. William Shatner shows off his knowledge of theoretical physics in his descriptions of 'hyperspace'. This book kept me entrigued throughout the entire novel. It is just an awesome book!

Summary: an excellent story line that follows the true time line...
Review: After reading the book, i could not believe that Paramount could have not made this book into a movie. The plot, the trials and tribulations are all there. generations, as most know, had a multitude of endings, and none of them fit. Shatner did a great job of resurrecting the Kirk in a true to Star Trek universe way.

Review: This was a wonderful book. It had a good plot and good characteriazation. The crews of both the old and new interacted well. I really enjoyed the interaction betwwen Dr. Bashir (DS9) and Dr. McCoy. The Romulan Bord Alliance was hard for me to picture....but as I read the book I realzed that Mr Shatner did a wonderful job. It also stuck true to the Star Trek Universe.....MUST READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!
