Summary: Book written by someone who can not paint.....
Review: You read and look at the artwork and it looks like it was a fore runner to the anime/manga style drawings of monsters that came later. The style is what it is, You can either like it or not. Personally I think the design as become the offical art form for the MTV/Internet generation of geeks who like this stuff, when in fact it's really nothing.

Summary: Alien
Review: Readers will be pleased with this book if they are interested with the design of the Alien film not so much the theme of the film or Giger's art. The book is set up in pseudo biographical form that records the chain of events that led up to the production of the Alien film, through the eyes of Giger. While it does contain many of Giger's paintings they are not the center of the book rather than a means of describing film design and offering a contrast between Giger's vision and the outcome of the film. C.J.

Summary: Giger's Alien is an all inspiring illustration of his genius
Review: When you first open this book, you have to control yourself from shaking and your knees from buckling. Giger's biomechanical Aliens, have what I have come to love the most, from the greatest creator of art and imagination, this force fed, silver spooned world, has ever seen. You won't look at any other art the same, ever again. Welldone H.R. Giger!
