Rating: Summary: The Death and Life of Superman Review: I've read the book four times, and still never get tired of it. Not to mention it would make a great screenplay/script/ storyline for the long awaited next movie. (hint, hint)

Rating: Summary: This book is da bomb! Review: If you like Superman, or comic books, or just a good read, this is totally the book for you! I couldn't put it down! I stayed up till three in the morning reading it! You have got to pick it up!
Rating: Summary: Heh... Review: It was all right. I didn't like how four different Supermen came to be, that was kinda dumb. I do like the fact that Superman wasn't killed by kryptonite or magic, but was just beaten down, like a mortal should be. The Batman: Knightfall story was much better.
Rating: Summary: SIMPLY THE BEST! Review: Roger Stern has brought out the best in Superman. Instead of pictures, he uses words to describe the Man of Steel's death. I read the anthology of Superman's seath and life first, and I feel that Stern could not have written this book any better. The detail is exploding, and the action with drama is non-stop. Probably one of the best books I have ever read in my lifetime!!!! This book will shock and stun the shoes right off of Superman lovers!
Rating: Summary: A Thrilling Read! Review: Roger Stern's "The Life & Death Of Superman" is a thrilling, action-packed adventure that I enjoyed from the first page to the last. It's almost like watching a movie! This novel has all the great elements of a great story: Romance, action, bone-crunching battles, and thrilling drama. I recently read Cinescape and read how the Superman movie project has gone down the tubs. They should simply adapt this booK! Imagine the incredible movie this novel would be! All the characters here are really interesting and the storyline is complex, intelligent, and full of some dynamite action sequences. "The Death & Life Of Superman" is superior to the comic book series it is based on!
Rating: Summary: A Legend Falls... Review: Superman is dead! wow. It's hard to question how DC killed off its most beloved character.. then resurrected him! This book is a much better source of information than the comic. But I can't drown the comic itself. For, it is, in its own right a novel in itself. This novel, is like a story that really happened when you read it. I felt the characters' loss, and sadness, and made me want to cry. Mr. Stern is not another Tolkien (who can be?) but he in his own right is a master of emotion and the english language. he makes you feel like your right on the scene. get this book!!

Rating: Summary: A dull fairy tale of a novel. :-( Review: The book seemed to please comic book fans more than everyday readers. Superman was this big hero and everyone liked him, except for a few people. The book was dully enjoyable and moved at a decent pace.
Rating: Summary: A True Comic Book Epic Review: The Death and Life of Superman is an excellent novelization of a long series of comics originally published in 1992-93. Roger Stern does an great job of fleshing out the story and adding details that you just can't get from a comic book. I remember when these comics first came out they were almost impossible to get. There were several from the Doomsday battle that I never did get to read. Stern captures the spirit and feel of the comics perfectly. The only issue I had with this book was that it really started to drag halfway through. After Superman's death the plot seemingly stops while everyone grieves for dozens of pages. I know that everyone's reactions to Superman's death was a major focal point of the story, but it just really caused the novel to drag at that point. When the new 'Supermen' started appearing things picked up quickly. This lag was the only thing that stopped me from giving the book four stars. I highly recommend this to any Superman fan, or to anyone who enjoys a good action adventure novel.
