Summary: A totally awesome book!!!
Review: It tells how Qui-Gon Jinn accepted a Padawan learner, and Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon's history together as master and apprentice. In the movie, The Phantom Menace, they have a very close bond, and it's cool to see how that bond formed. Only one question: when is book #3 coming out!?!

Review: This one is cool two and is very exciting!!!! I like this book because it tells us Qui-Gons history and why he diddnt whant a padawan in the first book. And you would be missing out if you diddnt read it. May the force be with you!!!!!!

Review: I loved it. It told you so much about Obi-Wan befor he was apreteced by Qui-Gon. It took him the last book and this one befor Qui-Gon finaly came to his sences. Many fun things happen to him and he makes at leest one new friend. And one more thing I now now from the 2 books is that he can sypathyse with every one in the move exept for of corse queen Amedal and Darth Mall. But espechaly Jar Jar and Anikin. It is great.

Review: I picked this up, and didn't stop until I'd finished it -- and I am WELL beyond the "recommended reading ages" for this book! If you enjoy Star Wars, especially the characters of Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi, you'll definitely enjoy this.

Summary: A good sequel to the first Jedi Apprentice book.
Review: I read both books in one sitting, and I must say, I'm decently impressed with this, the sequel. I would've preferred a longer and more involved story, but I can see how that might've been dragging things out a bit. I did like the first book a little better, but the characterization of Xanatos was good, and he made a good "Dark Rival". I'd definitely recommend this book as an addition to a Star Wars novel collection, regardless of age (I'm well out of the recommended group for this book, which tops out at about 14). --Nb

Summary: Just as good as the first, worth your money
Review: Wow! I read these two books last night and they are sooo good. Jude Watson did an excellent job on this book. I am a Star Wars fan, and every Star Wars fan deserves a good book like this. Xanatos is as powerful an enemy as Darth Maul or Vader. This book, however, is deeper than the first. It has a deeper, inside sense. The Force was with this book as well as the first one. Si Treemba is a character liek Jar Jar, just less foolish and more dedicated. Different species, too. It is a masterpiece, just like any Star Wars book. She got all that information in to 122 pages and it is still marvelous. Obi-Wan is a daring child at this time, foolish, like Luke was when he first trained with Yoda. A lot of effort went into this book.

Review: This book isn't just for kids! I read it aloud to my husband during a car trip and we both really enjoyed it. It takes about 2 hours to read aloud and it reads very smoothly. Fun for the whole family.
