Summary: I'm addicted to the story...
Review: This is one of those books that makes you crave the next volume. The character development is particularly creative. The sub-plots tease you and make you want for more. The second book flushes out details from the first while being able to stand on its own as a complete work. I hope the third volume draws on the strength of the first two and adds yet another dimension. I also hope that the third book isn't the last.

Summary: Great book!
Review: This series is great, and this book is my favorite of all the others. I love the way the author suddenly switches scenes and we are left wondering what happened to the character, but then we forget about them as we become entrapped in the plot of what's going on with everyone else. Overall, this is my favorite book.

Summary: Good!
Review: This was a good book. I enjoyed it just as much as the first book in the series (The Witches of Eileanan). The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the dialogue still gets on my nerves, and there was even MORE stuff lifted straight from Jordan's WoT series. A horn that calls ghosts to fight a war? I couldn't believe the audacity of the author to put that in her novel. Ignoring that though, this book was very good and I can't wait to read the third.

Summary: This books sets the series up well
Review: This was a great book, and anyone who loved the first book, needs to continue collecting the series. The Pool of Two Moons focuses on who will inherit the throne once Jaspar dies and also on developing the story and characters (especially Iseult) in preparation for The Cursed Towers (WHICH IS THE GREATEST). The Cursed Towers reveals some pretty massive things! (But I won't reveal any here!) Also just for the record The Cursed Towers isn't the last book in the series. There will be a fourth installment!

Great book, great Aussie author!

Summary: pretty OK book
Review: This was a pretty good book, but I agree with the others that said that it wasn't as good as the first. It was way too depressing and I didn't like how they didn't kill Maya off, but I suppose they'll do it in the third book. I was also pretty sad because Meghan is going to die (we all know it) and I wish that Isabeau could get at least some of what she had wanted cos she suffered so much! and I think that Lachlan/Bacaiche should have grovelled a bit for forgiveness. Other than that, it was a pretty good book!

Summary: Great book!
Review: Very good reading, alot more interesting than book 1. I loved the way the characters Iseult and Lachlan reacted towards each other. It's worth reading. Book 3 is brilliant too :)

Summary: LUV IT DALING, LUV IT!!!!!
Review: What can i say, must i wait for the 3rd and final book in this trilogy. NO!!!!!!!!! I want it now. The character development of Iseult was added on in leaps and bounds while developing Lachlan (Baccaiche)to a very satisfying character. I love the theme of fantasy books like this one, its fascinating to read books that can captivate thought so wonderfully and still have factual information. Because of this book i have started looking at modern day wicca and amazingly there are some stark simmilarities. Kate Forsyth combined factual information in with the book so well that it could still keep one on the edge of their seat.

BOTTOM LINE: READ THIS BOOK (and like me you shall anxiously await the next, can we really wait till SUMMER 2000 though)

Summary: Tale of politics, love, magic, and adventure
Review: What I loved about this book was that the protagonists were very intelligent and resilient (but of course faced insurmountable odds). There was no cheesy evil god or some such like you'll see in some epic fantasy, and that is but one of many ways in which this world seems so believeable and real. Its detailed tapestry of a world in turmoil yet still beautiful is surpassed only in the emotions and depth of the characters.
