Summary: a follow up to my moronic review *rolls her eyes*
Review: (my previous review on this book was pretty stupid now that I read it about a year later. So let me write a more sophisticated, up to date review if I may...) This, the Second in Kate Forsyth's series 'The Witches of Eileanan', is outstanding and the greatest in the series so far. But don't start on this one, start on 'Witches' (the 1st). Well, you can read them backwards, but If i read this one first, I wouldn't feel all the connectedness that I do with the characters in which I say in my reviews. Still many start with this book and are hooked fans. Just make sure you read 'The Witches of Eileanan' sometime. In this book, the beautiful land of Eileanan is getting attacked by Bright Soilders, a group of witch haters from an indepentent part of Eileanan. So they pose an equal threat to the witches and the Righ's kingdom. And where is Magrit in the mix?... or should I say the Mist, she is plugging away at her own plans to gain control of Eileanan. Meanwhile Meghan, Iseult, and Lachlan slowly meet up with Isabeau. From reading the series so far, I felt that Isabeau was more of 'key' or 'last hope' to restoring the rightful Righ and magic to the throne, because if it wasn't for her then everything would have crashed and burned. Please e-mail me cause I love to talk about this series, mir_goddess@hotmail.com

Summary: Great Book!!!
Review: Geez! When I saw that the end of "The Witches of Eileanan" said: Coming In June 1999 I could't believe it. Then It came out in March1999 I could't believe it. I bought the book and read in 4 days. This book was almost as good as the first! The characters were fun and interesting. Iseult, Lachlan, and Isabeau had to do almost everything with out the help of Megan. All three of them got over some problems and into trouble. This is a GREAT book and I don't think I can wait until JUNE 2000 for the next one!!!

Summary: This book was perfect!
Review: I actually found that this book was better than the first one. The characters were all so very defined, that you sympathized with each one. The plot was intruiging, and the very end was so heart-wrenching, I found myself crying for poor Isabeu! This is definetly a book to read.

Summary: Very Good, a must have for any fantasy lover like me
Review: I am only 12. Basically, I thought that it was strange that Isabeau and Isleut didn't meet until it was time to join the lodestar. And what about Finn and her father? I hope they answer my questions in #3! WARNING: the book is a little graphic like on p. 140 when it vividly portrays Iselut and Lachan "doin' it". All in all, I liked this book very much and I think anyone over the age of 12 should read this. I also recommend Lynn Abbey for anyone who loves fantasy creatures like ogres and goblins and elves.

Summary: It was great
Review: I couldn't put the book down. I didn't think anything could be as good as the first one but it was. You learn more about old characters and meet many interesting new ones. I can't wait for the final book to come out.

Summary: A magical experience!
Review: I got this book over a year ago probably when it first came out on to the market. I had no clue there was another book(the first one). You know how you can't judge a book by its cover? Well that saying is wrong I can. I've been doing it ever since i could at 5 years old and maybe even younger. Well when I looked at the cover to this book and I knew I had to get it so I begged my grandmother to please buy it and that i would pay her back. After 2 minutes of full maximized agrivating & begging I got it. The only trouble is my friend borrowed it for a year and only a week ago I got it back. *never let any one borrow a book you like because you might never get it back* When I read the first chapter I relized there was another book and that I was jumping right in to a story that was already going on so I was kinda confused trying to figure out some parts and puting things that i think happened. I really loved the book. I rarely ever read because barely anything appeals to me. The only time I'll read is if something interests me or is a chanlge or has fantasy i like in it. This book gave me all that and alot more. I could have read it for hours and sometimes I did for 8 hours in a row. I loved this book and I'm sure you will to if your one for adventure, magic, fantasy, and fighting and also a little love. Guess what I just got the third book today and so far i am loveing it. It was my best birthday preaseant this year!

Summary: A great book indeed
Review: I had never heard the author before I din't even read the first book because i din't relize there was a first on till this monday(6/19/00) when I started reading it. It was confuseing in some parts when they were mentioning things that im guessing happened in the first book. I had found this to be one of the most interesting and exiting books i have read. I read it in record time (less 7 days) I hated finishing it. I'm already bugging people to get the third book for my birthday.

Summary: Great characters
Review: I just love these spunky feisty characters who are all heart and never give up! I hate to get to the end of the book. Wish it went on and on so glad there's a sequel. Read all the ones in this series though each can stand alone.

Summary: Much Better
Review: I loved The Witches of Eileanan but I must say that The Pool of Two Moons is much much better. It is very fast paced and exiting. The characters are much more developed in this book. If you read the first book in the series and don't think its worth reading the second I think that you should reconsider. I can't wait to get a hold of the third book.
