Summary: ok but definitely not up to par w/ most star wars novels
Review: the black fleet crisis was an ok trilogy but it was no where near the quality of some of the other star wars trilogies (zahn, jedi academy, correlian) the author flip flopped things all over the place. he had half a dozen concussion missles killing the shields of a calamari cruiser and the weird egg bombs destroying whole starships. i dont care how strong and accurate chewie and his son are, there's no way they could fight through all the soldiers that were in the ssd. and how exactly did he know where the land the falcon so he'd be near han. the book said he landed near the detention cells and then tells you han is being held somewhere else. i dont believe he could fight his way to han and carry him all the way back to the falcon and not get a scratch. the author should have done a lot more research before writing the trilogy.

Review: Kube there really isn't much to say besides this book blew Bantha #*$%. This book revolves around politics. At first I was wondering why this book got such good reviews but then I reliezed that the stupid people only gave reviews (all 13 of them) The real Star Wars fans knew that it was a waste of their time. But I'm just here to make a difference, in hopes the Kube never writes another star wars book again. I don't Know what George Lucas was thinking when he approved this garbage. I use to think that nothing could affect my view on star wars. But when I read this book I have to say I lost intrest a little luckily This was the first book I ever read so in reading books like Courtship of Princess Leia, Dark Saber, Shadows of the Empire I regained that Lac of respect. I encourge people to stay away frm it unless your absolutly fastenated with politics.

Summary: A GREAT BOOK
Review: This was probably one of the best books that concludes what happens a good ten years after Return Of The Jedi

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Very Poor
Review: This book departs rather severly from the traditional Star Wars ideals. The author obviously had very little or no knowledge of the Star Wars universe and obviously did not do any research into the Star Wars universe to aid him in his writing. The use of ships firing "slugs" is just one example of the lack of knowledge that this author displayed. My advice is to not bother buying, or even reading, this book.

Summary: Good story
Review: After reading some of the other reviews of this trilogy, I just wanted to add my voice. True, the action was lacking, true there were some things that were unbelievable, but I really liked this book. I thought that the Yevethan idea was very interesting. Finally a book without some defunct Imperial Moff wasting our time. My biggest dissapointment was that the whole thing with Lando didn't tie in with the rest of the story. Overall, though, I really enjoyed it.

Review: im tired of ignorant authors stuffing up our precious universe!

kube is definately one of THE worst.

i found serval things utterly unbelivable in this trilogy. first of all, the uselessness of the whole luke-anaka thing. i mean, she dragged him all over the galaxy, for WHAT exactly kube? this 'lady' blantantly lied to luke, and he didnt even pick up on this? ah-ha...sure.

i really built myself up for this white current mystery, the way it was so murky and undefined, and found myself entirely let down. that plot hit a dead end too.

the only thing reall holding this story [barely]together was the yeventha kidnap of han. but even then, kube got leia's characterisation all wrong. leia watched, tearless as her home planet, and only known family, were destroyed. yet, when han is being held hostage, she is an complete wreck? i thought, no she SHOULD have a more guts than that.

lastly, the way it took lando three books to tie up this vagabond problem, and it took luke, what? three paragraphs? again its streching it way to far.

it seems most authors have found luke too hard to write, because of the way he has to much ability and power, but surely do they HAVE to poke him off to some hole in the galaxy, or have him running around on some wild goose chase?

i just sometimes wonder if some of these authors have actually ever WATCHED the trilogy.

Summary: Still Reading...........
Review: I'm Only in the midde of the book but by then wouldn't you think it would be interesting. First they put off Luke and now he's and old hermit. Now Leia is weirder then ever, and Lando leading an expedition to fingd some "Ghost Ship" come on. I wish I could have picked another book with an interesting story line.

Summary: Want action? Watch a movie. Want a plot? Read this.
Review: Other reviewers have bemoaned a lack of action in this trilogy and they are correct. I don't read a book for descriptions of things going kablooey. I read for intersting plot characters. I thought the character development was some of the best in the series. Nil Spaar was a superb villian.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It was an excellent book
Review: This book was suberbly written. It had a great story line, with rotating plots. It gave you a feeling of belonging to each character of the book. I would reccomend this book to anyone who like to read Star Wars.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Not bad.
Review: Kube-McDowell has done something new and different in a universe that was getting to be more of the same. He's written a serious, believable sci-fi extrapolation of the trilogy, rather than essentially rewriting it with a few changes. The politics are real and believable. The characters have changed and evolved. The suspense and excitement are created through a well thought-out, built up plot rather than chase scene after chase scene. Unorthodox, to be sure, but impressive, and original.
