Summary: The beginning of an excellent series!!!
Review: The action and technical extrapolations make for an excellent mix, to keep anyone up past midnight, since, you never quite know what's happening next! I've read this book so many times, I've lost count.

Review: This book just drew you along till the end, with just enough information to keep you guessing and wondering, could it be real?

Summary: Strong, Fast-Paced, Deep, and Honor-Bound!
Review: This book pulls you into a world that is unexpected and full of war and violence. Yet, you always have the sense of hope and justice. As in most of David Weber's books, the characters are lean and mean. The Mutineer's storyline has the potential to progress indefinitly, much like the Honor Herrington novels that he writes. Mr. Weber has the ability to keep his readers on the edge with the immediate storyline, and still have them wanting more at the book's end. This novel is a must for Science Fiction readers, but it can also grab the imagination of all readers. I give it a definite thumbs up.

Summary: I loved this!
Review: This book was the best of the series in my view. It starts out normal then reels you into a world of outstandingly advanced technology. The charecters are described in vivid detail and the epic ship battles were out of this world. I think Weber has a very bright future ahead of him and if he keeps doing this kind of work he will be racked umong the greats.

Review: This first book in a great series

Summary: Somewhat exiting.
Review: This novel is exiting in places, but I just cannot feel that it is original. Also, a lot of problems should have been much more serios. And the romance was... don't even get me started.

Summary: The first solo book
Review: Truth in advertising, I went to college with David way too many years ago at Warren Wilson College outside of Asheville, NC. Not only was he smarter than me, but he knew his military history. We don't agree on politics, I am Libertarian and he is Republican (if you don't know the difference let him tell you.) As a Navy Brat and Poli-Sci major, Winthrop U. class of 2003, I love his combination of politics with military and sci-phi storylines. You may not always agrree with his politics, but you will definitely enjoy this yarn, the first of a three part series (hopefully more.) His blending of legends with current world politics is facinating to watch unfold, and you really won't want to believe it, but it will keep you from putting the book down until the last startling page. The next two books are technically better written, but they aren't as facinating to the reader while being read. His characterizaeions could be stronger, the plot a "little" tighter, the technology a little more believable, but its my favorite book in the series because it has the feel of the truth to it. Alomost all of the Honor books are better, but this will be one of the most readable books you will ever have in your hands.

Summary: Mutineer's Moon
Review: Weber again has written a fun book. Reminds me of EE "Doc" Smith and his Lensman's series.
