Rating: Summary: My favorite novel ever Review: "Illegal Aliens" is my favorite novel. I read it years ago when it first came out, and I still fondly recall many parts of the book. I remember crying because I was laughing so hard. It's a must-have book for any science fiction fan with a sense of humor.

Rating: Summary: Hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't recommend it enough! Review: I can't say enough good things about this book.Furstenberg Forever!!!!!! I intend to order at least 2 copies, they are impossible to find locally, My copy was lost. I am tired of recommending it but being unable to loan it out. Rating: Summary: The best of the best sci-fi!! Review: I first read this wonderful book many years ago, and it became my instant favorite SF book. Over the years, it became tattered and raggedy from rereading, and gorgeous coverart by Mr. Foglio was covered over by all the taped used to hold the book together. And now its back! This time, I'm buying a couple of copies and squirreling away one for future reading. Pity they only did the one book. Girl Genuis by Foglio and the Bureau 13 stuff by Pollotta are both good, but together these guys really rock.

Rating: Summary: Bad puns abound - IT'S GREAT!!! Review: I happened upon this book many moons ago, and I saw Phil Foglio's name on it. Having read (and LOVED) the "Myth, Inc." series which he had illustrated I figured I'd give it a shot. THANK GOD I DID!!! Mr. Pollotta is hilarious!! If you like sci-fi and need a good laugh - this is THE book. I presently own TWO copies & I don't loan EITHER of them out to friends, relatives, or even rabid wombats!!! GET YER OWN!!!
Rating: Summary: The funniest book I have ever read. Period. Review: I have one special bookshelf in a glass-fronted cabinet. It primarily contains books that I have written, some treasured personal mementoes, the ashes of my beloved cats, and one other book: Illegal Aliens. It deserves that special handling. Aside from the vivid descriptions, wonderful puns, and TRULY weird extraterrestrials, it actually teaches lessons about how things get miscommunicated among cultures and subcultures.

Rating: Summary: This book is too funny for just words!! Review: I remember when I first read this book, I was wearing a gas mask during an excercise in Germany, I laughed so hard I nearly passed out from lack of Oxygen. I dragged it around the world, everywhere I went I would read it to get my mind off the world. It was worth it, the day I lost my copy I tore a cargo plane apart looking for it. And nearly cried when we didn't find it, years later it was sent in the mail by a soldier in Grafenwier. I have another copy now, but I still keep it locked up. It is the funniest book I've ever read. I can truly picture everything described as happening, especially with those UN Space Marines, the writers had to have done time in the military. The poker games, the "beer can" effect, gain a stripe lose a stripe in one day, everything. So true to life. It's a wonderful book!!
