Rating: 5 stars
Summary: You'll wanna read it over and over again!
Review: This book grabs your attention over and over again. When I'm at school all I want to do is go home and read this book again. As most Star Wars fans know it's about Luke Skywalker and his journey towards becoming a jedi. This book features all three star wars, A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return Of The Jedi. If you must know this book is just as good as the movie but it's even more fun to find out what the characters are thinking during lightsaber fights, empier encounters, and all scenes with Darth Vader and The Emporer. This book deserves the title of star wars and a great book reveiw!

Summary: This is a Great Book!
Review: This book is great for all you Star Wars Trilogy fans! This book has all the original novelizations(The original novelizations are Based closely or by George Lucas) in one volume! Somethings differ from the movies, though. For example, in the novelizations in the battle of Yavin, Luke is Blue 5. In the movie, he is red five. There are also some added scenes that are GREAT! It also explains stuff, for example, if you didn't know who was talking or talking to, this book would definetly tell you. There is a prologue that tells you about How the Republic collapsed and how Senator Palpatine became Emperor. So buy this book as soon as you can!!!

Summary: An absolute must for any Star Wars fan
Review: This exceptional set of novels is the next step for anyone who has ever had the pleasure of experiencing the three movies know collectively as "The Star Wars Trilogy". These novels do not merely re-tell the story of a gallaxy far, far away in written form; but offer much more detail into every aspect of the stories, from Luke's relationship with Biggs, to Han's deals with Jabba the Hutt. This is one of the least expensive pieces of the Star Wars universe you will find anywhere, and one that you will treasure more than any

Summary: An Exceptional Reading Experiance
Review: This is the best Star Wars reading experiance I've ever had! (Not that I've had alot) Within one volume, you get to experiance 'a galaxy far, far away' in a complete sense. To tell you the truth, I enjoyed the books more than the movie. I am sure that if you enjoy Star Wars, you will LOVE this book. The only complaint I can offer is that this book is a little much at one time. If you can watch all three movies in row, I'm sure you'll have no trouble reading the whole book at once. I myself was only able to finish the second story before I took a long break. In conclusion, GET THIS BOOK

Summary: The Standar Lucas Work!
Review: We are all up to speed on Lucas, so this is more of an overview of the second trio of the Star Wars hexalogue.

Lucas's genius is his abilitly to have a science fiction story with a strong fantasy feel to it. Frank Herbert did this in his Dune series, and Aykroyd and Ramis did it in Ghostbusters. For some reason, infusing sci-fi with fantasy gives the story more power than a strictly sci-fi or strictly fantasy book would otherwise have. And for some reason, putting sci-fi into fantasy doesn't work.

These stories cannot be ignored--the Star Wars phenomenon is as big as the Beatles and Elvis, and indeed Lucas's greatest contributions was the wake he made. Every current sci-fi project, be it film, novel, or TV stands in Lucas's shadow. The revitalized Star Trek franchise is alive becasue of Lucas.

Really, before Star Wars, the only sci-fi out there was Star Trek reruns, or the cartoon, and the "Planet of the Apes" franchise. "2001" was made in 1968, and was 10 years dead by the time Lucas came around.

The influence of Lucas can not be underestimated!

Specifically, this omnibus preserves the introductory material of Star Wars, with the long prologue that talks about Senator Palpatine from the "Journal of the Whills," and Leia's quip about the heroes being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Essential backgound material!

The font is easy to read, the print is firm and black, and I could see no typos! That is quite an accomplishment considering some of the gaffes I have seen in other books. The cover art is appropriate, since the first trio of stories, as we are leaning, are about Anakin. The whole hexalogue is about the rise, fall, and redemption of Anakin Skywalker. So we need this looming Darth Vader on the cover. It also calls back the bealtemania-esque frenzy that Star Wars caused!

The only thing that I would like to see is the introductory essays that Lucas wrote for the re-issued books printed here.

May the Force be with you!

Summary: Great!!!
Review: Well, this is one of the greatest books I've read. Not only does it contain three stories for the price of one, but it also has lots of "scenes" that didn't make it to the big screen.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great novelization, doesn't just copy the movies
Review: When I first read this book, I expected just a description of scene setting and dialogue. But there are a few surprises that aren't always evident in the motion pictures. The authors do a wonderful job of capturing the true spirit of Star Wars.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Must have for fans
Review: You can't miss this book if you're a real SW fan. It summarizes the first three books of the saga in one.
You can easily distinguish the different styles of authors: Gorge Lucas (the book is as good as the movie), Donald Glut (in my opinion he just copied the plot and added nothing more) and James Kahn (good storyteller).
I really liked it and I strongly reccommend it.
