Review: I think that if I had to compare this book with any other, it would have to be Bulgakov's "The Master and Margarita". It has the same casual use of the supernatural and in-depth exploration of the human condition. However, "Doom #3; Infernal Sky" is much more of a serious work. Rather than playfully poking fun at society's corruptions, it leads us down the long, dark cooridors of the human pysche. But it is far from a pessimistic book. Rather, it is a reflection of Daffyd Hugh's vision of the world, and that reflection is lighted with the sun of hope. If you find authors such as Tolstoy and Melville too brisk and anti-intellectual, this book is for you!

Summary: If your a Doom fan, BUY IT. If not, well...
Review: If you are a Doom fanatic like I am, it really is worth the time reading. Part 1 for example really dealt with the original game enormously. Part 2 had some connections with the Doom games, but not too many. Part 3 however, the story takes quite a unusual change from the first two books. The story just didn't go with the Doom theme anymore and it went from corridor shooter to something like Star Trek. But if your a hardcore Doom fan like I am, then it is well worth the money. I personally enjoyed the book, but I just thought people who are interested in buying this book should know what the book is about without spoiling the story.
