Summary: Female Draconians rule!
Review: I was a big fan of "The Doom Brigade" ever since I first read it, and it has become my all-time favorite. Once I found out there was a sequel, I counted down the days until it came out. When I finally got it, I quickly read it until the last page. Without a doubt, this is one of the BEST BOOKS you can ever read. The female draconians are undoubtedly the best part of the book. Fonrar is a strong character, and it's easy to understand her frustration with the overproective males and her wish to be free. You actually feel her frustration. When the females finally show their stuff, it makes you want to jump for joy. The plot is engrossing, and the characters are complete and full. This book is a must for any reader of fantasy!

Summary: A Good Sequel
Review: Its always Good to get back to old friends this book introduces more intresting Draconian Characters and details Another adventure of Kang and the First Dragon Army Engineers on there way to the abandoned City of Teyr The Female Draconian's are a year old now and evan harder for Kang and his trusty side kick Slith to keep track of allthrou there numbers seem to have changed drasticly with no explanation its a great book and not as dark as the other Fifth Age Books.

One of the Great thing about Kang's Regiment books and Short Story's that Don Perrin and Margaret Weis have done is emphasized is that these are Draconians and although there not the font of all evil there not namby pamby elves eiher I can't wait for the next book in the series Let's hope we don't have to wait as long for the next one.

Summary: "Draconian Measures"
Review: Queen Takhisis is gone. Magic has vanished, prayers are only for the weak. General Khang and his regiments of engineers soon discover that the female draconians, which they acquired in "Doom Brigade", are far greater work than they thought first. How strange the minds of those from the opposite sex are: Both the females and the males are getting confused as the differences between the sexes grows along with the females, and adding to their confusion is the fact, that the entire race knows nothing about love. That is the humerous part. The serious part is, that goblins are chasing them, searching to destroy them. The engineers comes to a strange fortress of draconians, and from here, mysteries are discovered and revealed. The girls draws attention, but not only good-natured. But Khang and his men must protect them at all cost, or else their race will perish, their struggles for freedom be in vain... "Draconian Measures" are one of best books in the Dragon Lance series, part from the original Chronicles and Legends. One comes to understand, respect and even like the so-called evil beings, as their society and minds are described both funny and dramatic in high-quality. The events in the book will capture the reader, in much the same way the "Chronicles" did; for this is a truly well-crafted story, where laughter, tension and tears are sure to come.

Summary: One of the best books EVER
Review: The Doom Brigade was the best book I have ever read, Kangs Regiment being the sequel to The Doom Brigade I had very high expectations for. These exepectations were justified when i had finished this book. Kangs regiment was a book i could not put down, the only bad thing i can say about the book is that the book can be read in a short time if you get into it that is. Kangs regiment is the long awaited sequel (long awaited to me) to the Doom Brigade, it starts where Brigade left off. This book is about a race in Krynn called the draconians, they are a race of dragon people that i always just thought of as just evil creatures. This book changed that, The more i read the more i liked the draconians. They are just like any other race just wanting to survive. The draconians have just recived a gift from there departed god....Females, the draconians not being able to reproduce were doomed now that they have females they must protect them and that is what the book is about. Protecting them from 40000 hobgoblins is just one of the many trials they face. If you are a avid Dragon lance reader than i would higly recomend this book, or if you are looking for a cool book to read pick up Kangs regiment (also try the doom brigade):)

Summary: A different style
Review: This book is a different style for Weis and Perrin. The Draconians are looked at from a different point of view. The draconians are looked at as a sort of neutral, not evil.

The book starts off a little slow, but picks up after about 50 pages. All in all, its a good book, but it could use a sequal.

Summary: Slith's thoughts
Review: This book was excellent! Not only did it have a lot of mystery and intrique, but it also had that great draconian action, made famous in "The Doom Brigade". Weiss and Perrin outdid themselves once again, the descriptions really let you see the fort, and the battles were among the best. If you don't find the female draconians amusing, theres something wrong with you! My thoughts for price, a little high, especially for a book that's easily read in less than ten hours. But, on the plus side, you get a lot for your buck, and you'll love the story. Bottom line, if you call yourself even a remote fan a Dragonlance, GET THIS BOOK!

Summary: Draconian Measures will there be a Vol.3
Review: This is one of the best in the dragonlance series. It will keep you reeding for hours at end. There is nevor a boring moment in the book and it has a shocking ending.

Thanks for this book Margaret Weis, Don Perrin

Summary: Kang's force
Review: This is the sequel to the best book ever written. Of course its a good book! How could it not be? It tells the tale of how Kang brings his force to the city, Neraka, and of a whole lot of intrigue along the way, such as who is out to get the draconians, now that Takhisis is no longer with Krynn? It tells of how the draconians are more good than you would think. If you have a chance, buy this book!
