Summary: I Loved this Book
Review: I thought that the Dragonlance Chronicles were very captivating and kept me reading until the very last moment in the climax of the book. Margret Weis and Tracy Hickman did an excellent job on this book and I hope they keep this up so I can read some more great books. It was very easy to understand and had a lot of fictional fantasy characters in it like elves and, well you'll see. If you love fantasy read this. P.S. This IS me, Alex.

Summary: Dragonlance Chronicles
Review: When I first bought this book I was expecting another hack and slash tale of warriors and dragons. After reading it I discovered how far I was from the truth. The tale that was contained was one of love, adventure and sorceries that I will never forget. The characters are like old friends, the enemies just as easy to remember. From their humble beginnings in Solace to the final confrontation with the Queen of Darkness, I couldn't put this book down. Having read many fantasy novels, I could easily say that Dragonlance Chronicles is easily comparable to Lord of the Rings and the Thomas Covenant series. The two authors are true masters of creating a world so rich that it becomes a second home. If you haven't read this book, read it. It is a truly enlightening experience.

Summary: I couldn't put it down!
Review: There was always something exciting going on in the book, never a dull moment. The main characters can save the world of krynn but first they have to learn to understand themselves and each other. The adventure starts with three persons talking to each other. A group of hobgoblins attack them. When they get to the inn the high theorocat sees a staff that the dragon armies want. It's in the arms of a girl. The book is extremely exciting and never monoutounous. this is a great book for fantasy lovers and people grades 6 and up.

Summary: Indeed at last something CLOSE to Tolkien!
Review: Finally, something to read after the ring books. It still isn't Tolkien, but it seems this is as good as we can get now. Lacks some of the depth of the master when it comes to use of the english language. I'd give it 4.5 stars if possible, but 5 will do.

You have to read this after Tolkien.

Summary: A great book that somehow began to come apart toward the end
Review: I have always been a big fan of Dragonlance. In this first series in the Dragonlance Saga, Weis and Hickman do a fabulous job of developing the characters. There were times when I even was surprised to be in my room and not in Pax Tharkas. The first book was really written very well. The second book was written well to however after the dream that the characters had in Silvanesti, it began to come apart. The third book was written just as well as the first, but it didn't have the same power to it. I gave this book 4 stars only because of that small problem at the end of book two. The fact that the story line decreases in its value did not make me put down the book. I am happy that I continued to read this book. It really got me into Magic and Fantasy. Once again Weis and Hickman deliver a great story. only matched by that of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Summary: These books are RAD
Review: The DL books are, by far, the BEST books I've ever read. My brothers got me reading them about 2 years ago, and I'm slowly building my collection of books. I've read about 10 of them, and I own 15. I told all my friends about them, and I've got two of them hooked on the books - they borrow then form my brother all the time, since I'm not there to loan them mine. But I insist, if you've never read them before, read the chronicals first, they're the best. Then read Legends. The first 6 books will always be the best.
