Rating: Summary: The greatest mistake I ever made Review: I discovered "Dragons of Autumn Twilight" by mistake at the bookstore. I began reading it, and from that point on, the book had to be pryed out of my hands for me to do anything else. It is simply the most amazing book I have ever read, bar-none. I am not even into the whole fantasy D&D scene. Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman convey a wonderfully interesting and exciting story of friends who travel to mysterious places in hopes of returning peace to the land of Krynn. The story really shines however, in the development of the characters and their relationships with one another. The character's development is astounding and adds a sense of completeness to this phenomenal novel. This is a story that will stay with me forever. Thanks.
Rating: Summary: The best trilogy I've ever read. Review: This is an epic trilogy, beautifully told and thoroughly entertaining and rewarding. I guarantee you'll be hooked.
Rating: Summary: The Greatest fantasy books I have ever read! Review: I have read these books about 6 times now. Of all the fantasy and sci-fi books I have read, these are the best. The character development is superb. It is very easy to get to know the characters in the book and feel like you are campaigning with them.
Rating: Summary: This book had a wonderful plot and great characters. Review: This book is the first fantasy/sci-fi book I've ever read, and, though it got me interested in the genre, everything else pales in comparison to this amazing book. The characters actually seem human, practically coming alive off of the pages to present themselves to the reader, and I'll be surprised if anyone can't find aspects of themselves in all of the characters. The way the characters interact, from the comic relief of the kender, to the stern-facedness of the Plainsmen, to the self-serving selfishness of the villains, this book compares and contrast all sorts of personalities and focuses on the difficulties of the lives of heroes. Not only is there great action, but also explores the psyche of the characters involved. A must read!
Rating: Summary: excellent Review: this is without a doubt one of the greatest fantasy epics written. definetely in the company of JRR Tolkiens "Lord of the Rings" trilogy.
Rating: Summary: The BEST book on the face of the earth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: The Dragonlance Chronicles are by far, the best books ever written! They are pure genius!! The intertwining of characters is excellent!! The storyline is superb!! The gods of Krynn are comical, yet they still have that judgemental edge. The war between Paladine and Takhisis is phenomenal! The characters themselves are facinating!! I strongly suggest this book to any longtime fan of sci-fi/fantasy! Even if you've never picked up a sci-fi book, this one will get you hooked, I guarantee!!
Rating: Summary: THE BEST BOOK YOU CAN EVER READ Review: If you believe in magic, steel and adventure this book is for you!!!
Rating: Summary: ROCK ON DRAGONLANCE TEAM Review: For those of you who haven't been fortunate to read these, DO IT NOW! Tasslehoff is the best character. Weis/Hickman team are "DA BOMB" keep writing
Rating: Summary: For lovers of magic and steel, prepare to be spellbound. Review: This book represent the introduction to the world of Krynn. Krynn is a world rich in magic and meddling gods, those history has been shattered and forgotten. This trilogy represents the return of the gods to Krynn, as the Heroes of the Lance rediscover their Faith to battle the Dragon armies. This is an enchanting classic, those characters you will amuse and inspire.
Rating: Summary: What more can I say? Review: What more can I say that has not been said by so many others? I picked up this tremendous trilogy again after 7 years of it being on my shelf. I was immediately whisked into the world of Krynn. The description of the characters, events and relationships makes this one of the most stunning books I have ever read. It is not a difficult read (another thing I really liked about the series). A wonderful book to free your mind and imagination and allow for the adventure to reign. If you are looking for a nice relaxing read, I can think of no better trilogy. If you like the trilogy, look into the other Dragonlance Books. The series on the Twins (Caramon and Raistlin) was exceptional as well.
