Rating: Summary: if you havent read this you havent read anything Review: this was the first book i read when i was 18 or so and i was hooked.Weis and HIKMAN are incrediblei am now 26 and although im not one of those nuts that spends his time thinking and talking only of conmicbooks heroes and all that staff(far from it i am a pharmasisit and i dont have time for that) i ha ve read tis trilogy at least twice and reccomend it to all who are intrested in travelling to a world where heroism chivalry and friendship are more important and essential than money or any material thing.its the days of king arthur only much better.i reccomend it us one of the best readings of your life
Rating: Summary: Time for a new legend? Review: This is the coolest fantasy trilogy to hit your home library since Tolkien's Rings! It will amaze any fantasy lover who enjoys a thick tale! It will grasp you to the point that you feel you are a part of the characters and their outcomes... it leaves a thirst for more of the Dragonlance histories... try Dragons of Summer Flame and the Second Generation if this interests you... a true tale of outstanding imagery and worthy to be ranked with the greatest epics! Buy it, read it, and then read it again!
Rating: Summary: If I could whistle and hoot on the net, It would be now Review: These books are terrific for anyone, from the D&D geek to the Action-flick, can-barely read the words on the page guy, and all those in between
Rating: Summary: Mythology, demonology, intrigues, magic, science. Review: This book is one of the best i`ve ever read. It`s got everything! It`s got magic, science, mythology, demonology, dwarves, elves, humans, dragons, etc. It gives the reader a good look into the personalities of the characters, and their strive to rescue Ansalon. This book is a must-read.
Rating: Summary: I thoroughly enjoyed this groovy book Review: I thought that this book was an excellent addition to the realm of fantasy. Weis and Hickman have created a world that is richly imaginative, managing dozens of characters fairly and believably. If you are an avid fantasy fan, I strongly recommend this book. If you hate fantasy, I strongly recommend this book. If you are indifferent, just read it.
Rating: Summary: Read and be fulfilled Review: My brother introduced me to these works. At the time I wasnt even into reading anything at all except the sides of Nintendo cartridges. These books took me to a realm where I stood breathless in the face of such vivid beauty and clarity. Since that first time, I make a pilgrimage and read the entire series from Huma to the New Fifth age novels at least once a year. I find however that I read the chronicles much more than that. I often recall times when I was severly depressed and sad, all I had to do was open these books and be fulfilled. Buy it and read it, I promise you wont regret it. If im wrong let Heaven and Hell eternally damn my soul. (Dont worry, I have complete faith in them)
Rating: Summary: very good book Review: The dragonlance trilogy is one of the best books. I recommend reading it. it is only second to the lord of the rings
Rating: Summary: The best ever written!!! Review: This is possibly the pinnacle of all that has, or ever will be written! It steals your imagination, to bring it far off to a land known as Kryn. Once there you realize the dark queen Takhisis is trying to take over Kryn for herself. And you learn there are a group of freinds from Solace who just might have what it takes to stop her. But they must look deep into their own souls to find who they REALLY are, before they can take on the queen! This book will make you fall in love with Kryn and it's inhabitants. Not to mention a certain set of twins. Caramon and Raistlin Majere. Caramon, the huge towering foe. And his meek and frail twin Raistlin. You will watch him grow into the most powerfull arch-mage Kryn has ever seen! If you thought Fistandantulus was a tough guy, you have alot of reading to do! If you love Dragonlance, this has got to be the cornerstone of your collection! You will never put it down!! And then to further feed your hunger, look no furt! her than the "Twins trilogy"
Rating: Summary: This book was absoultly wonderful!! Review: The authors go out of their way to define each charecter and make you care for each one. When something good happened to one it made me so happy and if something bad happened to one I found myself in tears. This has got to be hands down the best book I have ever read and would recomend it to anyone.
Rating: Summary: This book stands out compared to everything there ever was Review: The Dragonlance Chronicles really spoiled me as it was the first sci-fi/fantasy book I read.. now I just cant sit down and be satisified with anything else, because no book I have ever read really makes you feel for the charicters so much as Dragonlance does. In dragonlance, the charicters are just amazingly developed.. They arent just some people you read about in the story.. they will be your best friends, and moral enemies.. it will make you cry when one of your campanion dies by the sword of an evil foe.. I only wish all of the fantasy books out there had this quality. that way id actualy be able to read something else
