Summary: it was intense and had romance involved.
Review: unknown soldiers come from the north and nine heroes/heroines that must find the dragon orbs and the legendary dragonlances to save Krynn. They must fight battles between each other, themselves and a world full of servants to the dark queen, Takhisis. I personally think it was a great book full of intense adventure and tangled webs of love. It's a book that catches your attention and makes you buy all the books from the preludes to the next generation. I personally have bought vol. 1,2,3 and vol. 4 dragons of summer flame. I hope to buy more.

Summary: The Best Fantasy Book ever written!
Review: The Dragonlance Chronicles is one of those rare books which has the same effect and offers the same degree of novelty on the reader no matter how many times he/she has read it before. It drags you inside the world it creates and makes you feel the wonder and excitement its characters feel. It makes you a part of its great adventure. I always tell my friends that if they haven't read The Dragonlance Chronicles, then they haven't really experienced the real essence of fantasy literature. In fact, after I read this wonderful book, all other contemporary fantasy books paled in comparison. The Dragonlance Chronicles is not just the best in the genre of fantasy books, it can definitely hold its own when compared to other books of fiction as well.

Summary: This is the best series of books I have ever read.
Review: I have read this series three times through and cant get enough of it. I have always been a fan of fantasy/RPG based novels, but the Chronicles take the cake. Plain and simple, the characters are outstanding. They are so well developed and interact so well with each other that they truly make the books work. On top of that, the story about the War of the Lance is top notch. So much creativity went into creating a the whole Dragonlance world complete with history, legends, and heros. I would reccomend this series to anyone. There is love, war, a full spectrum of emotions and excitement. The only thing lacking would be sex, drugs, and profanity. But hey this is fiction not reality.

Summary: Thrilling beyond any epic novel I have ever read.
Review: I have been reading novels since the age of 11 or 12 and I love books that continue on (such as the triology). Never in my life have I read such a series of books that took you to all the realms of such ugliness and evil to turn you around and show you the most beautiful and good things that can be found in people (real or fiction) with plenty of hardy sword clashing going on between -- it is during a war after all. I laughed out loud at Tasslehoff's antics, felt Tanis' indesicion, adored Riverwind and Goldmoon's faith, hated Kit for choosing herself over her friends, and I could just go on forever. Please save me the trouble and just read the books.

Summary: If you like Science Fiction/Fantasy, this is the way to go!
Review: I liked these books because they capture you and won't let you go. You want to keep reading the saga and I got attached to the characters. You can't put the books down they're so good. I especially like the fact that Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman don't use a lot a profanity and what they do use is mild. I highly recommend these books.

Summary: Without a Doubt the Best Triliogy of Anykind Ever!!!
Review: These books develop characters better than any other series I've read. The storyline is superb and it holds itself throughout. The sci-fi aspect is remenescent of Tolkien as well as D&D of old. It blows away any sci-fi movie adventures that's for sure. Why hasn't this be made into a movie yet????

Summary: The best
Review: These books are great for anyone that has any spare time on their hands. If you have any imagination at all you will enjoy ALL of the Dragonlance series books.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the great fantasy series
Review: If you are a fan of fantasy books, or even if you simply have an active imagination, you will love the Dragonlance Chronicles. I just re-read them for the first time since I read the trilogy six years ago and they captured me in the same manner. Once you finish them, move on to the Legends series, also written by Weis and Hickman, and then Dragons of Summer Flame, the "conclusion" of it all, if you will. Aside from these books, Dragonlance is in need of some writers on par with Weis and Hickman, though I do reccomend the short story collections. Remember: An empty pocket holds more.
