Summary: Both books were great, but the second was the best!
Review: I suggest the second over the first. The first was mainly based on the game. New readers would enjoy the setting of the first and second book. To me I like the second one the most because I got attached to steve and the other women besides rebecca. when steve and women became zombies it blew me away. I just wonder when the other two will be out. I can't wait.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: JUST AS GOOD AS THE FIRST BOOK!!!!!
Review: S.D.Perry has outdone herself again. Her original story of the events in between RESIDENT EVIL and RESIDENT EVIL 2 is wonderful. It was really sad when Karen and Steve died, but the story is still great.Capcom should definitly make CALIBAN COVE into a game.Every Resident Evil fan should read both books,or anybody looking for a good suspenseful, action, horror book.

Summary: People who reviewed part 1 & 2 of this series, read this.
Review: This book was far better than the first which I gave 2 stars. Its character development was much stronger. I was very surprised by the fact that the first one got a perfect score, and even more surprised that this one got lower. For everyone who gave a better review to the first one than the second, please for the love of god assess your rating. I'm sure that all of you will find yourself agreeing with me that this book is far superior (however not without flaws). I personally cant wait for the third in the series, which I believe is based on a better game.

Summary: A truly great book...
Review: This book was great all the way through... especially if you have played the Resident Evil game... I am a fan of the games and i saw this book in the store and picked it up right away... The way it corresponds with the games is great...Even if you don't know of the games.. it is still a great book. It starts off in racoon city, shortly after the mansion incident, and advances to caliban cove and the way it uses the puzzle solving(as in the games) is great... This is one of my favorite books. A must read...

Summary: IT'S O.K
Review: I think that the ending of this book is o.k. Rebbeca loved Steve and Steve loved Rebecca so why did you let John live and Steve not? David only lived because he new Barry and Rebecca had to live because she was asked to go. John should have taken Steves place as Grifith's helper!!!!!!!

Summary: A set of books to eat your time away
Review: The two book are great. Not great say as War and Peace but they do their job of keeping the reader mind on what is happing. If you need something to do, say while wanting for your filght then Caliban Cove is the book for you.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Greatest Book I've ever read
Review: Considering this book was the first book written based on a Resident Evil game, I thought it turned out great! The book really pulled me in. I felt almost sad and relived at the end for the characters. I actually wish the book would be made into a game!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good original story with the feel of the game.
Review: I was a little disapointed with S.D. Perry's first Resident Evil book, "The Umbrella Conspiracy", so I was somewhat apprehensive about her follow up. However, "Caliban Cove" is a much stronger story, however much it deviates from the game series.

In "Caliban Cove", Perry has focused on one of the background cast from the first game, the rookie field medic Rebecca Chambers, and has fleshed her out very nicly.

In keeping with the series that these books are based on, "Caliban Cove" has more of the same from the first book- Mad scientists, evil corporate cover ups, zombies and other monsters. While the pace of the plot seems overly calm, the envoirnments seem vivad and convincing. This story sounds like the kind of place a video gamer would like to spend some time.

Overall, Perry seems to have learnt much since her first Resident Evil book, and I'm looking forward to her next venture into the world of survival horror!

Summary: A worthy follow up
Review: well after reading the Umbrella Conspiracy I was convinced that Perry could adpt a plot of a game into a unique and interesting book, but my next question(could he write his OWN story) was answered with this book. Amazing. From start to finish a great plot and it is especially amazing considering that since he couldn't alter what happened next in RE:2 he had to write a basically self contained novel. It was well done. One thing that was well done about the book was that at the end when you thought all the shockswere over the book takes a suprisingly dramatic turn. Another exceptional book.

Summary: This Book is a Great, Great follow up to the First Book!!
Review: I was not sure if this book was going to live up to my expectations. But I was WRONG! It was GREAT! This book was a page turner from start to finish. I love the idea of a insane scientist manipulating the T-virus to make something better. The Trisquads in this book are amazing. S.D. Perry did a wonderful job with this book, she has an amazing mind. She makes you feel like you are there and that it is real. I can't sit still waiting for the next two books. If you read the first book, you have to read this book. Buy it and enjoy!
