CALIBAN COVE: RESIDENT EVIL #2

Summary: How does one improve on perfection? Read on.
Review: S.D. Perry succeeds in writing an amazing original story based on my favorite video game series. Forget all the crappy stories produced by Hollywood based on games. Perry carefully constructs this story with respect to the games. The only "downside" is the reader will have to use more imagination here than the first book due to a lack of actual visual game reference. Note: there is use of PG-13 language. I highly recommend all FOUR titles.

Review: I had bought both books at the same time. I of course read the umbrella conspiracy first. I gave it a good rating. I didn't think the second one would be any good beacause it was written without6 a base(like the game). But it was a real shocker. I never expected Rebecca to take the grenade from Karen's pocket.

Review: I've played the games, although the books are much more detailed and slightly different then the game and it has some things that the game doesn't.everytime I read the next chapter I can't stop reading, I always wanna find out what happens next.I recemend it to anyone and everyone.

Summary: A suspenseful and awesome book, altogether, a great read
Review: Even if you've never played the games, but you're a fan of horror and science fiction, this book and the first of the series,(the Umbrella Conspiracy)are simply wonderful. Caliban Cove is a great book by itself, and even greater sequel. I became attached to the characters, mostly because of S.D. Perry's wonderful style of writing. This book is filled with mystery and hidden conspiracies. Parts of the book are sad and filled with gore and death, but that's part of why the novels are great.

Summary: Filled with suspense, humorous and exciting
Review: Even if you haven't played the game, if you like conspiracy's and and that FBI type of story, this is a book thats worth looking into. The beginning of it starts sort of slow (but necessary)especially if you haven't read the first of the series. However, the middle and end make up for it with the action packed suspense. I also suggest playing the video game and reading the first of the sequal "The Umbrella Conspiracy"

Review: Rebecca is hotter than ever! In this installment to the Resident Evil book series, Rebecca travels to Caliban Cove, Maine to attempt to defeat Umbrella yet again. In the course of the group's attempt (Rebecca meets S.T.A.R.S. members in Maine) and they manage to get in trouble yet again! I highly recommend this book as a good example of what you can do with a subject if you put your mind to it! What the hell was that about?

Review: It's all of the great Resident Evil ways. You get your suspense, you get your action, and more importantly, you get your gruesome zombies!!!!! With guns! Those zombies were creepy enough before, and now they have guns?? Wow. Once again, this book has a low survivor turn out. That's how Resident Evil gets to you. Well, I think you people have heard enough of my blabbing. That's all folks.

Review: This was the first original book written on the Resident Evil series, and I think it was great! The plot was interesting enough to not stop reading. Personally, I thought that the book was a little too short. I haven't bought the first one, since I have the game, but am planning to now. Hope S.D. Perry finishes the others based on the second game soon!
