Summary: A horrorble plot and crappy ending gives this book 2 stars
Review: The first third and fourth books were great in the series but, this was by far the worst. With boring and pointless riddles the book becomes dull about 100 pages in. Also the only real enemy is a few gun weilding zombies. All the others at least offered a variety of enemies. So over all this book sucked and it serves no purpose to the series, so you might as well skip it.

Summary: it kind of ruined the story
Review: I liked the story itself but whats the deal with zombies and guns. Zombies are suppose to be slow moving creatures that have one thing on their mind eating brains or just eating.but all in all i like the suspence and characters you would never expect dying.

Summary: Good filler between the two games
Review: I'm sure when the new Resident Evil game comes out early next year it will not go along with this book but none the less its a good filler until that time comes.

And unlike "Underworld" (book 4), this one has a good ending, telling us what happened to the team that went in, and lead way to Book 3.

Summary: Not quite as good as the first one
Review: This book was defenitley original, but suffered from a weak storyline. The action was there, but mindless, who would go into an Umbrella facility with just a handgun? This one had the most gore, but it didn't seem as suspensful as the first. The Trisquads were intersting though. Overall it was an average book that had a great title and an empty story.

Summary: Reconnaisance mission to bookstore 100% worthy
Review: From the beginning, Stars team is involved in realistic coverup by Umbrella. Why are we not hearing about stuff like this happening? This book is an adventure to the dread realistic world of survival horror. This stuff really happens, I am certain. Soon this book will be a must read to prepare for the Y2k bug, but go ahead and read it before it is required that we read it in school or something...

Summary: RESIDENT EVIL #2 is better than the first!
Review: CALIBAN COVE is a great original novel based on the Resident Evil video games. The plot concerns the survivor's of Resident Evil #1 who learn that a madman is creating an army of the living dead to do his bidding! Zombies with guns. This book kicks so much ass!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Solid original novel based on bestselling computer game
Review: Author S.D. Perry tries her hand at the first original novel based on the bestselling video game "Resident Evil." Coming to the novel without any preconceived ideas, CALIBAN COVE is an entertaining and satisfying read. Perry finds her stride for the tale by focusing on one character, combat medic and biochemist Rebecca Chambers. The conspiracy and mystery thicken as the few trustworthy and remaining Special Tactics and Rescue Squad members (S.T.A.R.S. for short) go underground in hopes of uncovering evidence of Umbrella Corporation's responsibility for the horrific nightmare. Meanwhile, a renegade scientist has taken over the facility in Caliban Cove, Maine. The team gets word of "strange going-ons" and heads out to investigate. Armed with some details to "Resident Evil 2," Perry attempts to bridge some gaps between the games with events and monsters that unfold in this story. Chambers, the youngest member the S.T.A.R.S. team has the combined fortitude of Agent Sculley and Lara Croft. Perry delivers an interesting secondary villain, devises a few interesting puzzles, and gives Chambers a romantic interest. CALIBAN COVE is an engaging, entertaining read, and one of the best written series to come along in quite sometime.
