Everything came together in this one. I thought the plot was pretty good, slightly predictable but... -=shrugs=- still very good. This was my favorite out of this particular trilogy.

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A good book, it still didn't live up to the first two. Review: I like Han Solo a lot. The first two books were fabulous, but this didn't have the bang the first two built up. Some of the explanations were unacceptable, like the Kessel Run toward the end. The Millenium Falcon made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs as sublight speeds? Come on, that doesn't make sense. It was supposed to be made in hyperspace. A.C. Crispin revealed all of Han's mentioned friends except for the Briil twins, who Han mentions to Roa in Han Solo's Revenge. I thought the book would have a scene in which Han plays a joke on Lando by using the Tonnika sisters (The weaved girls in the Mos Eisley Cantina scene in SW: A New Hope), vaguely mentioned in a short story. Otherwise the book is great. The series it self shows why Solo is solo. He treats Princess Leia like how he does because Bria hurt him. He even told himself he would never let it happen again. He hates slavers because he used to basically be a slave for Garris Shrike. But the series smartly left out things which are best left unrevealed; who his parents are, why they left him, etc. Personally, I think that Garris Shrike is his father. He gave Han his last name, but where he got it from is unknown. He is abusefully mean to the boy with a personal interest. Sort of a disorder of some kind. But all in all, the book was pleasing, if not fullfilling to my tastes, as I am a stickler for detail and explanation when it comes to Star Wars.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This book was one of my favorites ever. Review: The Battle for Freedom. The book Rebel Dawn was a very insightful look into the life of Han Solo before the Rebellion. The third installment in the Han Solo series tells of th planet Nar Shadda, Han's many relationships, and his quest to save one. Han Solo is a smuggler for a gangster named Jilliac th Hutt, leader of the Desilijic Clan. Jilliac's home is on the planet Nar Shadda is orbiting, and there is an imperial fleet coming to totally demolish the planet to prove to Jilliac that the Empire does not tolerate smugglers and their employers. The Battle of Nar Shadda insues. The victor I cannot reveal, but the smugglers have something in store for the Imperials. This book is one of the best books I have ever read. If you like sci-fi and are fascinated by the creation of George Lucas, you should read this book. Rebel Dawns author, A.C. Crispin, has wrote many other Starwars books, including the 1st an 2nd book in the Han Solo Trilogy.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: The 2nd Best Star Wars Trilogy Novel Series!!!! Review: This book is the bomb!! It has great characters, plot line, and ending. I loved how she brought back Muurgh, Bria, and others. I love how she put Boba Fett, Lando, and others into the plot line to make it the 2nd Best Star Wars Trilogy Novel Series. 2nd only to the Mighty Thrawn Trilogy!!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A FANTASTIC END TO THE BEST TRILOGY!!!!!!!! Review: I am a big fan of Han Solo, and I think that he would be proud to see such a wonderful book written about him. Three cheers to A. C. for the best trilogy besides the original. I enjoyed reading this book and hope that A. C. continues to write for Star Wars. It is the best when Han encounters Bria again and she shares her proposal with him. With Muurgh and Chewie behind him for some of the scenes in the book, I don't think that Han was going to be messed with.I love the ending, but Bria had it coming after she backstabbed Han again. All of the Hutt wars, sensational. A brilliant prelude for.......THE BEGINNING!!!!!!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: An enthralling history of the Universe's most dashing rogue. Review: If you are at all a fan of the Star Wars universe, this is a must read. I could not put this series down, and I didn't think that I could feel so personnally affected by a Star Wars story. Han Solo is a great character, A.C. Crispin goes to great depths to explore and reveal why Han Solo was, is, and will be. Outstanding reading.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Amazing blend with the Star Wars Universe! Review: These is one of the best books based in the Star Wars Universe I've ever read. Crispin really knows how to interconnect the different facts and events in his book with the movies and other Star Wars literature, and he just exploits the Han Solo character in a great way. My only complaints are about the talkative temper given to Bobba Fett and the lack of some more technical fiction used in these universe of it's own. But I guess I'm just to picky. Certainly a masterpiece.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Disappointing Finish Review: I really enjoyed reading the first two volumes in this trilogy which is why I was so disappointed by how bad this book is. I'm a big fan of Han Solo, but it was difficult to make myself read this. I think I was most disappointed in the storyline.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: SECOND BEST! Review: I am a fan of Han Solo, so generally I liked the trilogy. Thanks A.C. for the books! I read the R.D, and I loved it! And at the end, that was very good. A very touching endind to that kind of a book. I'm sorry that Bria got killed off, but I guess she had to sometime. Way to go A.C!
