Summary: The best one of the five x-wing books.
Review: Fast paced and interesting characters. Lara is a great addition. Wedge and Wes are the best characters to read about. Hope to see more of Wes Janson in the next one!!

Summary: Yub yub!
Review: I don't believe that the final battle was that unrealistic. After all, with it's sheilds down, an SSD only needs one little A-wing to crash into the bridge for it to be utterly destroyed, as we saw in RotJ. So dozens of starfighters shouldn't have much trouble. Plus, there was a battle going on inside the ship between Zsinj's forces and Kuat's. So not many of the guns were manned. But if I were Zsinj I would have hung around for just a few more seconds and destroyed the Mon Remonda. He was pretty close. I hope there will be a showdown between Wedge and Baron Fel in the next book!

Summary: Could Have been better
Review: This was overall a good read, but I thought it was too predictable. Their espionage part on the Iron Fist went so smoothly with nearly no errors. Lara Nostil's identity wasn't dicovered. Two out of thirteen Wraiths died this time. I did like the way how the Wraiths infiltrated Iron Fist. The cameo appeareance by the 181st Imperial Tie Fighter was exciting.

However the ending wasn't good in my opinion, you have a SSD on the run just because half it sheilds are gone? Anyway it looks from the events that happened in Iron Fist Allston next book "Solo Command will be more action packed and dramatic.

Summary: Best of the X-Wing series
Review: Although I absolutely loved Michael Stackpole's first four books, 'Iron Fist' beat them all out in both story and action. Allston seemed to struggle with X-Wing #5: 'Wraith Squadron', but 'Iron Fist' is *definitely* worth the read.

I loved the way Allston concentrates on developing his characters as they realize what their problems are and strive to change themselves. Although quite serious at times, Allston also manages to work a lot of humor into the story; not so much that it's corny, but just enough to make it very enjoyable and not too dark.

I won't reveal anything, but I will say that although Phanan was one of my favorite characters, I was almost happy when I read about what happened to him in this book, it was so well-written.

Read and enjoy, folks...this book deserves to be a best-seller.

Summary: Very Good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I thought this is one of the best Star Wars books I have every read. It is a lot better that book 5. I didn't think that the battle between the Rebels and the two SSDs at the end was very believable. I mean a single Mon Calmarian cruiser against two SSDs should have been very quick. Something believable would be Iron Fist fires, no more Mon Cal. When I heard of Solo's "fleet" I thought it would have something the bulk of the Rebel fleet. I also think that the Razor's Kiss was destroyed too easily. But other than those facts and the fact that a cruiser, a snubfighter carrier and a TRAINING frigate were sent up against TWO SSDs, I thought I was really good!

Summary: Huge Comeback by Allston!
Review: After I was at first unimpressed with Wraith Squadron, I didn't expect much in Iron Fist. However, by the time I was done (two hours later; I couldn't put it down) I realized that Allston was a much better author than I originally gave him credit for. His entrance into the Star Wars universe was tentative and shaky, but he has firmly planted himself here now. Iron Fist is now one of my favorite Star Wars books, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a ride of all new flavor in the Star Wars universe. After talking to Mr. Allston himself at a Star Wars club event, I realized that he will bring much new enjoyment into the Star Wars saga for a while yet to come.

Summary: Fun, fantastic and engaging!
Review: July 31, 1998 Fun, fantastic and engaging! The X-Wing series just gets better and better. This story is well written, easy to follow, with great sound effects. This audio team is excited about what they are doing and it shows it the high quality of the production. The X-Wing adventure has exactly what I demand. A fun positive science fiction adventure with lots of action and engaging personal stories.

This audio novel probably sounded a lot better to me as I had struggled for 15 minutes with the new Star Trek Pathways audio novel. Star Trek Pathways is one of the worst audio novels yet produced. It really makes you appreciate the level of quality in the X-Wing series.

X-Wing #6 Iron Fist is a great investment and I highly recommend it. I have the entire series and this is a worthy addition. Now I can't wait for the next one!

Summary: Amazing Series!
Review: I was first of all surprised to find the X-Wing series enjoyable; I expected military malarky, but found people. Allston's additions(?) to Stackpole series are also fun and likable. He dares to emote, and several characters share the spotlight in each book.

Summary: The Greatest X-wing book thus far
Review: The X-wing serries has always been my favorite section in the star wars novels. This X-wing book combinds humor and suspense in a way that it kept you intrested throughout the whole book. Aaron Allston has in my opinion been the first auther in the Star Wars novels to do this.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The greatest X-wing book yet!
Review: The book was great. The begining started off slow but then got rolling. Some parts of the book got confusing.
