Summary: Not as good as Stackpole but still a good read.
Review: I have bought every book so far in the X-wing series and this was one of the better ones. Aaron Alston manages to make this a much more interesting and exciting novel by including more space battles, and a slightly more realistic plot than the last book (Wedge suddenly deciding that the New Republic needs a squadron full of washouts??). His style is quite different from Michael Stackpole's series, which I thought were slightly better overall, but there is still another one to come in this series, so lets hope it is the best one yet. This is a perfectly good book, and is well worth buying especially if you have read all the others, as the twisting plot makes it hard to put it down.

Summary: Hilarious
Review: This book was very refrshing. After I read The Mandalorian Armour I was ready to give up on reading Star Wars books, but this book really changed my mind. The reltationship between Wes and Wedge was great. I loved the ongoing joke about Lieutenant Keetch, the Ewok pilot. Every time I read the words: "Yub, Yub" I burst out into laughter. Most other books, while awesome in their own right, lacked one important thing; HUMOR. The characters of Ton Phanan & Face as well as the one mentioned above were more than enough to do the job. I hope that future books utilize this aspect as Aaron Allston so wonderfully did in his two novels.

Summary: This is one excellent book.
Review: This book shows that fighter pilots don't have to be restricted to the cockpit of their respective flying machines. Myn Donos is great. He has recovered from his post-traumatic stress to become one of the essential characters of this squadron. I'm going to really miss Phanan, he was hilarious. I like that Allston makes his books diverse by switching the character focus (The focus lies on Face instead of Kell). This is just overall a good book.

Summary: Yub Yub Commander! Funniest Book Of The Series!
Review: I polished off this book in under a week. I couldn't put it down! And at every other page I was cracking up! Allston really knows how to throw humor into a good Sci-Fi novel. Look out for Lieutenant Kettch, an Ewok "Pilot". You hafta feel sorry for Wedge at some point though. The squadron just wont stop joking around. I would have liked to see a little more about Kell and Tyria though. I'm a sucker for stuff like that in books.

Summary: This action packed thriller was a great book
Review: I thought that the book Iron Fist by Aaron Alston was a great book, especially for readers wholove suspense and action. This book had everything from aliens to light speed capable ships. From hand guns that shoot lasers to self thinking robots this book stretches your imagination to it's full extent and then some. here's one example of the many thrilling scenes in this book. In this Castin Donn, a pilot and computer hacker in wriath squadroon, trys to plant a tracking device into the computer of Walord Zsinj's ship. As I said before this is jst one of the many thrilling scenes in this actioned packed book.

Summary: Realistic
Review: This book was AWESOME! Unlike most people I am glad that Allston is not afraid to kill people, though I am sad when they die. After all, it's a WAR and in wars people DIE. This was one of the best SW books I've ever read and I think Allston should start his own series like Stackpole did.

Summary: A little wordy, and NO KELL!!!
Review: This book was a little talkitive, and they suddenly switched the FACE doing the main character role. What happened to KELL!?! I miss him. I hope the next book will be better.

Summary: Kewl
Review: This booked rocked! I thought Alliston couldn't pull it off but it did. I even read it twice. Unlike other people who reviewed it, it was pretty realistic. A Mon Cal cruiser could take on a SSD because of it's backup generators, PLUS, it had snub fighter cover, and when the warlord retreated, it was because the bridge shields were down, and a scray proton torpedo could take out the whole bridge.!!! Excelent book! Keep it up!

Summary: It may be long, but that's more room to make it better!!!!!!
Review: After I read X-WING WRAITH SQUADRON I was considering just not buying IRON FIST becuase I didn't think that Allston could improve in 4 months. I was wrong and do I mean WRONG!!! I read the book and loved every part. The first part is surprising because a lot of people think that the cyborg is Ton Phanan.

Actually I think that the battle between the MON REMONDA and the two Super Star Detroyers was very well thought out. The shields of the RAZOR'S KISS were gone, not just down but GONE. No recharging. Shalla had done it some interior damage with here explosives and it had been damaged a considerable portion blasting away from Kuat. It had almost no gunners, so in other words: it was a sitting duck. IRON FIST had already been done damage by a previous battle and MON REMONDA is a Mon Calamari Star Cruiser, which means that it has about 5 banks of backup shields genorators. While it probably was not logical for MON REMONDA to desroy IRON FIST, it could be possible. Unlike my fellow book readers who apparently don't take in the deatails, I have one thing to say. GENERAL CRESPIN'S A-WINGS ARE NOT FROM A TRAING SQUADRON!!

While I really did not want Phanan to die his letter to Face was hilarious! The only problem with Allstons books are that to many people are killed. In two books Wraith squddron has lost: Grinder, Phanan, Donn, Sandskimmer, Tabanne, and Jesmin Ackbar. That's 5 wothy pilots (I don't mind Donn dying, I thought he was a jerk and a racist, unrespecting, rat. But I do like Grinder the first code-slicer). That's more than Rouge Squadron lost in twice as many novels!!

Back to the point, it was a good book, you should read it. Myn Donos over and out.

Summary: Not A best buy
Review: This book was funny but it had its problems. I really liked how they made fun of wedge but that was probubly the best part of the book. And one louzy ship (Mon Remonda) could take on two SSD even if not fully maned it just dosen't work for me
