Summary: Almost Perfect
Review: What led me to this book as a review which linked it to the Harper Trilogy. In retrospect that was misleading.

Though the background is fascinating and the main character is engaging, the story is too chaotic. It jumps too much between one thing and another, and never dwelling as much as I would like on anything. I finished the book thinking the book missed it's own main point. :-)

Other than that... this is a book about gold mining. :-) Those excentric personalities that set themselves apart from society in the search for riches, search the unexplored wilderness for untold riches, and then come back and have to part with the hard earned fruit of their work to finance it. In between, Killashandra has a lighting course in personal relationships.

Summary: A Masterpiece...
Review: When I first picked this book, which was the very first Anne McCaffrey book I ever read, I could not put it down. I read it all the way and never stopped, unless for the daily necessary things. The character of Killashandra is amazingly detailed and very much enjoying. I liked it so very much and I recommend it... for sure... In my opinion, a masterpiece... and I am very happy I ever found Anne McCaffrey.

Summary: A beautiful character,a beautiful land,completly enchanting
Review: Wow, was this a page turner. Anne McCaffry did it again. I loved this book and each time I read it, I fall in love with it again. Killashandra is such an amazing character, full of gusto and courage. It lets us look into what the future may be like, and frankly, I like what I see.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: One of McCaffrey's Best
Review: _Crystal Singer_ is one of the few books by this author that kept me reading, the only others being _Dragonsdawn_ and _Damia_. I was able to stomach her annoying style because of the sheer imagination and the strong character of Killashandra. I recommend this book if you enjoy McCaffrey's work. I also highly recommend it if you have never read any of her myriad books.
