Rating: Summary: Sweet Book!! I Suggest You Git It! Review: This is a rilly good book. I usaly don't read books. When I was told to read a book for English I picked this one up at a local book store. As I was reading it in english class I started to git into the story line. Then before I knew it I was reading all the time. I liked it more than playing my most games. 4 days later I was done and it left me wondering ,and with many questions. So I had to git the second one, and it's just as good as the first and I find myself reading all the time now. In class on the bus at home at freinds houses. This series is SWEET. You will love it. Thay should make a few more books though. I feel alot of questions still left. Thay need to be ansewerd.
Rating: Summary: This was fun to read! Review: This book was a great translation from the game. As I read it, I could picture the different levels and what was going on. He did a gnice job of describing the demons and the addition of a female added a whole new level of depth. Doom fans must buy this one!
Rating: Summary: THE FIRST IS THE BEST AND NOW I KNOW WHY. Review: I loved the book,I was just going to read it to pass time then I started getting into the fact that most of it was just like the game. Granted the whole series is good but this was the best. Oh ,and one more thing you need to make another book of this awsome series. I mean come on you can't leave it like that. For those who have no clue as to what i'm saying well you'll have to read the books. See look I just might have made a increase in book sales. So if you please just make at least one more book in the series put to Brett Wilson. Thanks for the response line and thanks for the books.
Rating: Summary: Thebook was great it brought you in and would not let go. Review: The book told the story with every detail. Although it was gory and had sickening situations if you have ever played the game this is the book for you,and if you read it long enough it may give you some secrets or ways to beat some major levels. The first 2 books are good but the 3d book gets a little boring at the end and in the last book the ending really bites, not to say the whole book was bad.
Rating: Summary: The best of the series! Review: I have read all of the Doom books, and I thought this one was by far the best. This one had the most connection with the game, and the most action, if you read the first page of the book you cant help but read on. The books were very well written, but the next book in the series is a bit worse but still good, the 3rd installment is the "Heartbreaker" of the series, when everything that has been built up comes crashing down and two of the characters fates are left unknown, it left me feeling sad, the last one does a good job of cleaning up the mess that the 3rd one made but It still dosent have a REAL definate ending, and duplicates of the main characters are left in a computer limbo, which also leaves you feeling sort of sad. Overall a great series but also in the end a bit puzzling and depressing. The first one was definately the best, and it seems everyone thinks so too. If anyone else feels this way, or has comments on the Doom series, email me and we can talk.
Rating: Summary: This is by far my favorite book. Review: While the temptation might be to overlook a book inspired from a video game, enough panache, humor, intelligence, and intriuge lie within its pages to make it one of the most exciting books in it's genre. The authors do an impressive (and often fanatical) job of building on the most distinguishing features of a classic game. Knee-deep in the Dead is more than just a book about Doom. It is a fast-paced and masterfully written novel. The pacing is ingenious, the characterisations are strong, and the plot manages to as simple as it is compelling. While reading this book, I greatly resented anything that tore me away from it.
Rating: Summary: HOTTER N' A CORN DOG IN HE@$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: Those who love action will rave over this book! Just one of the 683 cool things I'll tell you about is this: After an alien whups a poor human, the freaks "re-work" 'em!!! Read the book to find out what the heck I'm talking about!!!!!!
Rating: Summary: BANG,BANG,BANG...BANG Review: I love the way this book kicks off with action. It even tells why Fly hates Lt. Weems and doesn't just leave you hangin' to guess why. Non-stop action. Believe it or not but I could actually hear the music of the game in my head that would go with the area they were in. That is how good it is.
