Summary: IT WAILED AND IT NEVER STOPPED KICKING A$$!!!!!!!!
Review: THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!! This book brought me to a far away place, and made me Fly Taggart, a soldier with an attitude. I felt the sorrow of friends turned evil, the hope that the A.S. on the walls would lead me to Arlene Sanders, and gave me the sense of victory in surviving. Or do you survive??? This first book of four grabs you, and I say that in the most serious way. Friends die, new friends come, you are lonely. You feel relief, you feel pain, you feel...grabbed. If you start this series you will never be able to stop reading until each of the two-hundred page books is finished. It's all about the survival of the earth, or the gory defeat of the universe. The plot is about aliens who send earth a garbled message about some gates on mars. Earth already knows about these gates so they open them up. What comes out of them may or may not be what called the humans, but the battle for survival has begun, and it's up to Fly, since he's the only survivor on Mars. Or is he? I was so deeply shocked, moved, and surprised by some of the parts that...It's indescribable. You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll feel like kicking some alien a$$ for what they have done. -The IceMan

Summary: A mega carnage suspense book.
Review: It's a good book...yet not too much of a science fiction thriller. The entire collection rocks, and this is just the game in a book. So, I reccomend this book if you like hearing gory details of people getting shot and occasional cussing.

Summary: One of the best sci-fi books I have ever read!
Review: This book is based on the computer game Doom and the author has done a great job.The two main characters in the book are Arlene Sanders and Fly Taggert who are two marines that are sent to Phobos (which is a moon of Mars) where an alien invasion has taken place.Arlene and Fly fight there way through the levels of a mining building finding many strange and weird monsters on the way.I thought this book was funny and full of action and I recommend it to anyone who likes the computer game Doom has a sick sense of humour and a love of sci-fi books

Review: Do you want to read action and blood? Read this book. But dont give a penny if you want science-fiction

Summary: The first book, at least, is good...
Review: This is a great example of a series that starts off good and gets progressively worse. I found this one quite fun to read, as a novellization of most of the levels of the game Doom. The characters were vaguely interesting, and he certainly kept the action up. However, I would suggest ONLY reading this one. The next book is still fairly good, but ends in a cliffhanger which might trick you into buying the rest of the series. DON'T. Books three and four are laughably bad, pulp sci-fi of the worst kind

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Book.
Review: I highly suggest it for Doom fans.Arlene and Fly have lots todo in the next book.

Summary: One of the greatest books ever!
Review: I am an avid sci-fi reader and this is one of my all-time favorite books. This has a good mix of story, and action. Dont make the mistake of doubing this books in-depth story. I would recomend this to any action or sci-fi book readers, and fans of this game

Review: I WAS WITH MY DAD AT HASTINGS RENTING A VIDEO WHEN I SAW THIS BOOK LYING ON A SHELF. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS A GUIDE BOOK FOR THE VIDEO GAME, BUT ONCE I SAW THE WORD NOVEL ON IT I BEGGED MY DAD TO GET IT. HE SAID,"OK, BUT IT'S COMING OUT OF YOUR ALLOWENCE (I'M ELEVEN YEARS OLD)." I BOUGHT IT AND WENT HOME AND READ ALL OF IT. I WAS AMAZED BECAUSE I CAN SEE THE PICTURES IN MY HEAD.

Summary: This is easily the best book I've EVER read. BUY IT!!!.
Review: This is the best book ever. I've read the book 24 times. I know you think I am obsessed with it. you are right! While you're at it get the other 3 books from the DOOM series. They are called Hell on Earth, Infernal Sky, and Endgame. In the book you are Corporal Flynn Taggart United States Marine Corps, and you have to defeat the horrors of hell back almost by yourself. it has a great story. It is an action packed book. If you are a DOOM fan you have to get this book and the other books in the series.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: high paced action
Review: This high paced action science-fiction novel will have you gripping your seat with non-stop greatness. It's just a bit different from the game, but it's definitely worth your money
