Rating: Summary: This is a REALLY good book BUY IT Review: This is a fabulous book, a non-put-downer (which can be annoying at times). The only thing I didn't like was that the torture made me almost throw up as I don't have a tough stomach. But everything else makes up for it! Have to wait another 2 years ... for the damn series to be completed ... I thought it was going to be a trilogy at first?
Rating: Summary: Definitely one of the best books ever Review: I am currently reading this book and I love it. It has everything a good fantasy needs. I recomend this book to anyone who likes a good fantasy story.
Rating: Summary: My absolute FAVORITE Review: That's pretty hard to say, I'm a pretty tough fantasy critic. I've got querks on everything. But this book is my absolute favorite. It's interesting and magical and you can really picture yourself there with the characters -- this is what fantasy is ALL about...
Rating: Summary: uggh Review: this book could be said to be great.... unless you have read from Robert Jordan. i found it repulsive how much she takes from his ideas! and the torturing was horrible! if you have read the WoT series, DON'T READ THIS BOOK!!!
Rating: Summary: THE BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!!!! :o) :-D Review: This book is amazing! I saw it, and was imediatly drawn to it. I started reading it in the store and I couldn't put it down, so I had to buy it ;-). I encourage you to read this book, you won't be able to put it down.
Rating: Summary: Sci-Fi fantasy lovers will love this book Review: The Irish/Scottish brogue and imagery used make this book come to life. You experience this book and not just dully read of heroics happening to another. Dragonlance and Forgotten Realms fans would love this book. It has humor and you become attached to the characters and it is almost as if they are real. This book is full of magic, heorism, quests, adventure, fighting, and sureal life forms. This book is definitely a page turner.
Rating: Summary: I'm 12, just started reading and I love it so far! Review: I am at the part where meghan is at the two tower with Isabeau's twin, her mother, and an old witch friend of hers. I think this book is one of the best I've read, and I can't put it down! Can't wait for book #2! I HIGHLY recommend this book!ยก!
Rating: Summary: Definitely worth buying a copy ,fantasy from the antipodes Review: Destined to be the superstar of fantasy novels, Kate Forsyth spins an intriguing tale of a a coven of witches different from your own , take a ride into another world.
Rating: Summary: best book ever, even rivals Robert Jordan Review: What can I say? What a wonderful new talent, can't wait for book 3 and any other new stories that Miss Forsyth has tucked up her sleeve! This series even rivals Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series.
Rating: Summary: Kate Forsyth is the best new talent around! Review: It's not often you stumble across a book by a first time author as good as this one! I'm never been much of a fantasy fan but my girlfriend kept waving this book in my face, saying 'read it! read it!'. Gotta say once I started it I couldn't put it down and at some parts of the book my pulse was racing and I kept having to read faster and faster. It's a beauty! I liked it so much I've started reading other fantasy books but none of them are as good as this one.
