Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An Amazing Book
Review: This book is the best book in one of the best series of Sci-Fi I have ever read. Linaweaver and Hugh did a great job. The only downside of these books is how they end

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: The second best book ever only surpassed by the first doom.
Review: This is the second best book ever only surpassed by the original doom book "Knee Deep in the Dead". I recommend this book if you like action packed books. In the story it starts off you are on Deimos (the outer moon of mars) where Flynn Taggart and is comrade Arlene Sanders have defeated the hordes of hell on Phobos and Deimos (the two martian moons). In this book it tells about how you have to get back to Earth to warn them about the invasion, but it seems they have already invaded. All of earth is invaded except few resistances (one is Salt Lake City and the other is Hawaii) After you return to you make it to Salt Lake City. In Salt Lake City you get two new people to help you save earth Jill (a computer genius) and Albert (a Mormon that is a Marine sniper). On your mission you have to get into L.A and drop a force field that prevents you from getting to the main resistance in Hawaii. After you read this book or the original DOOM book please e-mail me and we can talk.

Summary: EXCELLENT
Review: I THINK IT'S COOL. THE WAY FLY AND ARLENE GET BACK TO EARTH THEN OUT OF THE DISNEY TOWER IN THE THIRD. I WOULD RECOMEND ALL FOUR DOOM BOOKS.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I monumental achievment for gore everywhere!
Review: This book was the best out of all four

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Mr Hugh is kinda lost his touch in this book
Review: He had done some very intresting job in Balance of Power and Fallen Heroes, but His Interpration of the Doom character is something to be questioned, I Like his way to express Fly's frustation, or his funny view of horibly things, but the story in general is boring and once you read it you won't ever review it

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Not as good as the first, but not bad overall
Review: The sequel to Knee-Deep in the Dead is not as engrossing asthe first, but if you read the first book, you _must_ readthis one as well. It adds two new characters to the team, a Mormon sniper and a 14-yr old computer whiz. It includes some exciting battles on a train, in buildings, and in an airliner. However, the viewpoint changes from one character to the next, and while some may like that, I personally find it annoying, and occasionally confusing. A must read if you're dying to find out how Fly and Arlene get back to Earthside..

Summary: A waste of time.
Review: Why would anyone take the time to write a book on a video game, much less take time to read the book. I haven't read this book, but I have read the first one of the doom books at the insistence of my friends. Taking the time to read that book was stupid. For anyone thinking of reading video game books, DON"T. Take the time and read Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time or David Eddings Belgarid and Elenium. This are books that are good from beginiing to end

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: as good as pt.1
Review: Sequal book to Knee Deep In The Dead, this book takes us back to our planetwhich turns out to be Hell on Earth once the action starts.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Second and last one worth reading
Review: Storyline is close to Doom II however, it lacks wits, style and credibility.
It is rich with action, even though it gets to be a little repetitive and sometimes even predictable. It has very little substance and I think the author would have done a better job if he didn't try so hard to basically transmute the videogame action into words.
All in all, if you're a Doom fan, it's worth the read.
Keep in mind this is NOT THE STORY of Doom, as thought by it's creators, iD Software. Rather, it is the author's view.
