Summary: THE STORY ONLY GETS BETTER
Review: These are not only great books but also a most interesting wonderful piece of imagination for all time! In these perfect books about a young wizard turning of age (Vilmos), a young princess maturing (Adrina) and the elves undertaking a perilous journey (Galan and Seth) you will learn about friendship, magic, love, drama, suspense, everything you think you can see in a movie happens in these books. Words cannot express how wondeful these books are. It is a A+ for sure.

Summary: Fabulous story for all ages!
Review: I've heard about this new series despite the huge buzz about "Harry Potter" this summer, and I was curious to check them out. My son is 9, my daughter 11, and I have to tell you, they enjoyed these books much more than they did the latest Harry. The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches, in my mind, is superior in the realm of children's literature. Even in this somewhat Renaissance in Children's Literature we are experiencing its not often you stumble across a book with as many positive characteristics.

The story begins as Adrina discovers a major change is coming to the kingdoms and we find Vilmos a boy in another land is having a terrible time with bad dreams. After some introduction, the adventures begin with Vilmos, Adrina and the rest of the wonderful characters in these series.

They are smart, snappy, and not overly written. I've read chapters with my children. As a parent, I was just as excited to find out what happened next as much as my kids were. I would especially recommend this book.

This story is great for kids. Its not too long to make them disinterested and adults will love it too. Move over Harry Potter, these get my vote.

Summary: The Kingdoms is spectacular!
Review: Any of the Kingdoms and Elves novels are great. The style of writing is so descriptive and this allows your imagination to have so much fun. These books have all the criteria I love. It has action, magic, suspense, mystery, and humor. It is the best. I read it the first book in two days because I could not put it down. Adrina, Vilmos and Seth's life are so interesting and you are learning life lessons as they learn them. I recommend this series to all ages because all ages can relate to something in the story.

Summary: THE BEST
Review: i read the books by Eoin Colfer, JK Rowling and a number of others. so far, the only books I have read twice though are these. They are all very good. If you like fantasy novels you will like these. I give them 5 *'s.

These are amazing books, with incredible amounts of detail, and there is a lot to talk about. i could be friends with Adrina because she is so lonely and misunderstood at the beginning. i think she needs a friend like emel. i sympathise with her. Besides the fact that she is a princess and I'm not, I can completely relate to her. She has a lot of qualities that I have to. Plus Adrina is the kind of person that speaks her mind. I would definitely want a friend like her. Who wouldn't?

Vilmos was so fun and diverse and is the kind of person that draws people to him. He is always positive even when things are tough and I hope that there are people like him in real life. I would like to be more like Vilmos but I don't know how he does it. Vilmos, Adrina and I would definitely be the best of friends because we're all interesting and friendly.

From the moment the book started it flowed very well and was an easy read. Things I liked about the book where the characters because they make you feel like you're wearing their shoes. Things I didn't like about the book was the fact that Vilmos has to leave his home I think it makes you sad. Get the book you will enjoy the story. -Tommy

Summary: Recommended reading in my classroom
Review: I didn't know The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches last year, and now I can't stop reading Stanek's books. "The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches" is a fantastic mixture of Middle Age tradition, mythology and fantasy with names and places that sound familiar to all of us. I had no idea that a book for children could be so captivating for adults.

When starting, one realizes quickly this isn't going to be just an ordinary kind of plot. I am so glad I discovered this book and this author. I recommended the books to my students last year and I will again this year. These wonderful books are magical and every teacher should read them and then introduce them to their students.
