Summary: This book was excellent.
Review: I am a huge Tolkien fan and a really being knights -shining-aromor fan I love swords and elves and dwarves and hobbits etc. but this was way different then I have ever seen any of these races displayed in my life (I am only 14). This book was great, I could not put it down and I have read both (there have only been two so far right?) I am still waiting for the third one. This book has definitley no been finished. C'mon Mr. Norton and Mrs. Lackey, WHERE'S THE ENDING? Brad Heinle

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: It was an intense book!
Review: I really loved this book. The ending was not quite as happy as I thought it would be, but the book was still excellent. I recommend any of Lackey's books she is an excellent writer.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: My Favorite! Dragons Galore!
Review: This book was great! You can read over and over and over, and never get tired. Norton and Lackey did a great job incorporating in everything from the details, to the feelings. It felt like as if you were in a small world of your own.

Summary: great story. but
Review: The book grabbed you from the beguinning through almost the whole thing. I didn't like the ending though because it seemed like it was just chopped off.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Fantasy.... or Reality????
Review: Imagine you had no knowledge of your parents. Maybe you didn't even know your race still existed (or ever did). Put yourself in Shana's shoes (or lack of them). You are the unwitting and unwilling child of prophecy. Your mother, you never knew. Your father is still hunting you for the crime of your birth. Raised by dragons, the only "family" you've ever known, you are cast out because you do not conform. You do not belong and can never be "Kin." Follow Shana as she learns about life, love, treachery, friendship and, above all, herself. The Elvenbane is a classic fantasy tale, with a twist. None of the races (elves, humans, dragons) are how you have ever seen them presented before. Prepare to be shocked as only Norton and Lackey can. NOTHING is as it seems, but EVERYTHING is as it SHOULD be when prophecy steps in the way of tradition. If you miss this one, you're missing out!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Another book I couldn't put down!
Review: In this wonderful fantasy, Lackey and Norton combine to make a story that grabs you with original plots, believable characters and an overall sense of "What's going to happen next?" This is a must-read

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: blech.
Review: The only thing I have to say on the subject of this book is that the switching back and forth between author's styles (Lackey/Norton) was distracting enough to detract from what was otherwise a very good story, but if you can ignore being slapped in the face by the switching, you'll probably enjoy the book
