Summary: The Best!
Review: This was a very good book describing the character Shana, a halfblood child, who has to go through many perils. It was entertaining and I didn't want to put it down.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: pretty good
Review: this was a really good book except for a few little nagging flaws that i found.like how someone had to go out of existence..and she never found out about her family..not that it was much of a family to begin with. but all in all good book

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Second only to Eddings!
Review: The Elvenbane is one of the best fantasy books I've read in a long time (and I've read a lot of 'em) The plot is interesting, the characters excellent and the dialogue quick and witty. Don't let the title fool you! These arn't Keebler elves! Just read it and find out!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An amazing eleven and dragon book!
Review: A heroine that will capture your sympathy from her childhood on, a group of talking dragons that are so much like humans it's surprising, and all the love and war a person could want. Read this book and be enthralled!!!!

Summary: This has to be one of the best books I have ever read
Review: This book is absoulutly amazing! For anyone who likes magic and dragons, this is definatly the book for you. Basically, the story is about these elves that have taken over a human world. The elves have magic but the humans don't so the elves rule over everyone. As time passes, there are human and elf couples who have children creating a half-breed of humans that do have magic and can fight back. You may ask where the dragons fit in. Well, the dragons remain in hiding because of their fear of being hunted but since they can shape shift, they often go and stir up trouble in the elven community. Anyone will love this book because it contains everything a good book should.

Summary: One of the best fantasy books I've ever read!
Review: This book is incredible! I loved reading it. It's very imaginative, with interesting characters. I couldn't put the book down. It's about the clash between three different cultures. This book has intrigue, magic, and mystery! Please read this book!

Summary: I really, really liked it.
Review: It is a good combination of dragons and my normal favorite science ficton. Elvenblood is a good sequil, but leaves off at what i think is an odd end. Lackey needs to write more.

Summary: Fabulous
Review: Terrific! Despite what any other reviewee may say, the book is wonderfully written. Unicorns, until recently, were portrayed in mythology as violent, stupid, and yet, beautiful. That is how it is in the book. Many other things fit in together, so perfectly it's a wonder! I have read it three times, and the sequel twice. I am eagerly awaiting book #3!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: exelent book
Review: I think that this book should be read by every fantasy reader. It has a great plot and is verry well layed out. chopped off at end but who cares?

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A fun read, but lacking greatness of any sort
Review: This book started out great, but the very fact it has a one-book format makes it unable to establish anything in any real depth. It also reverses some of the traditional fantasy norms, such as the characteristics of the elves and unicorns. The plot seems to work out every time for the main characters, except for a few isolated instances. There is no tension over whther or not the main characters will win, its just a matter of when and where. The end of the book seems to be a foregone conclusion before the book is even half finished. It is a fun read, but its lack in creating any kind of tension or real unavoidable conflict makes it fall short of being termed "Great" by any standards.
