Summary: Jedi's Hope
Review: This book not only tied the X-wing series to the movies as well as the other Jedi books; but it also allowed us to explore as Obi-Wan put "A certain point of view" when it came to dealing with the different aspects of the Force. I highly recommend this book to those who enjoyed reading the Jedi Acdemany series.

Summary: I love this book
Review: I read the NJO series first. Then I read this book. I love Corran Horn. I'd love to see this book be made into a movie--unfortunatley my pick for Corran was used as Qui-Gon Jinn. Oh, well. The book lets you see Corran as more than a Rogue Pilot and a Jedi. He's a son, grandson, husband and friend. It makes you feel his anguish to find his wife and the constant turmoil he's in to find her AND himself along the way. It's well worth the read.

Summary: An excellent sequel by an excellent writer.
Review: After reading the X-Wing series I felt let down because of the end. I, Jedi picked me back up and carried me on. This book has enough story lines, plots and sub-plots for two or three books, but Michael A. Stackpole has it all wrapped into one exciting novel. Following my favorite of the X-Wing pilots (along with Antilles of course), we get to see many sides of Corran Horn. Finally, those who wanted to see him turn Jedi, get to see him tame his Jedi heritage. Those who love Corran Horn-Fighter Ace will love the flight scenes in this book as he flies X-Wings and the "clutches." Also we get to see the part of Corran we've only heard about- Corran Horn, CorSec detective. All of this make a great character for a great book. If you ever read the X-Wing series, this is one you can't miss. If not, this a great book to see the future of Star Wars after the trilogy. All in all- most definately a five star book!

Summary: Spectacular Story, one of Stackpole's best next to X-wing
Review: One of the Best books Stackpole has written, I have to say that amount of information given in this book was amazing, and scenes in mind of action after action, following Corran Horns life after X-wing Books 1-4 and right in the middle of my favorite trilogy the Jedi Academy Trilogy. Very informative on what happens, and leaves you hoping they get the bad guy (Admiral Tavira). I think the most prominent parts were his fighting on the hidden world with the survivors, playing hidden jedi. I recommend this book to all the readers who love the one on one stories, the books that tell the life of the person through the persons eyes, this book is it, you finally keep to see the life of a jedi through a jedi's eyes

Summary: Corran the Great
Review: This is one of the greatest Star Wars novel I've read. Corran Horn was great even before he became a jedi. Now he kicks but in space as a figher pilot and he kicks but on the ground as a jedi. This probably the best free standing book in all the novels. It was a little longer book than all except Vision of the Future but the number of pages only helped the book. I enjoyed it very much and recommend it to any Star Wars fan. If you buy it you will enjoy it greatly.

Summary: For those Corran Horn fans this is a must have!!
Review: I am a big Corran Horn fan and I heard this book was about him so I went out and bought it. It is a great book because it gives you some insight on the Jedi ways and lets you get to know Corran's personality. This book is a must have for any Star Wars fan.

Summary: As Sw novels go, this is pretty good
Review: Compared with the catasrophic novels of Anderson and Hambly, I, Jedi is a very good book. The idea of a first-person story set as a back-story to the Jedi Academy Trilogy (which stunk worse than a Taun-taun on the inside) was refreshing. Some people feel that using Corran instead of a main character was not the greatest idea, but if you have read any of the X-wing books you begin to think of Corran as a main character anyway. Besides, he's basically like Luke during Empire except he's got a more Han-Soloish background.

This book starts of marvelously and incorporates many famous SW characters. The scenes at the Jedi Academy and when Corran is flying for the Empire are a real treat. I especially liked the incorporation of the absorbtion Force power and the blade-down lightsaber fighting technique. Sometimes the dailogue is a little weak, but what can you do?

I have a couple problems with it, though. First, the ending is pretty weak. I feel like Stackpole was just in a hurry to end it and made some stuff up. If you are looking forward to a great Jedi battle, don't be. Second (and this is one of my big problems with Stackpole), too many times there is too much "buddy" and emotional analysis by Corran and co. Finally, I thought the Imperial characters were not very true to Lucas' vision.

On the whole, though, this is a good book. I would say Stackpole is third in SW authors only to Zahn (who is the master) and Allston (who doesn't do all of Stackpole's emotional analysis). Most importantly, this book makes the Jedi Academy, some of the worst books EVER, bareable.

Summary: I, Jedi
Review: This book makes a very good read. I has everything you could want in a book, from action to romance to chacter devolapment........ Stackpole does a great job with this, writing from the first person. Half of this book is the jedi acedamey (by kevin j anderson) told from Corran's point of view. I highly recomend you by this book.

Summary: Book Review
Review: The Book Star Wars: I, Jedi written by one of the most famous fiction writers of all times came back with this original sequel of Star Wars: X-Wing (A Famous Book Series based on the Star Wars galaxy). This book still uses the sentences we all know, "The Force is in you" and so on. This book is quite complicated if you have never, ever in your whole entire life read a book about the fictitious and un-realistic world of Star Wars. It all starts when Corran Horn comes back from a hard mission, and the only thing he wanted to do is spend sometime with his wife, that he had though of all the time. When he got home, her wife wasn't there, and he got worried and decided to look for him. This took him in one of the weirdest adventures of them all. He became a Jedi, and helped building a Jedi Academy. After he had gone through that, he went in search for his wife. This story is suspenseful; you wont even have time to see how long you've been reading the book, or the number of the book, or chapter. The only problem is that every word you'll read will each time make less-sense. At the end you will feel like you just read a bunch of letters... This book is about how somebody fights for what they really love, and they will give up anything. Though, everything has consequences. Corran Horn went through a lot of things before he could bring his loved wife back. He will meet people he never though he would meet, and experience the force, which he himself never believed off. This book is suspenseful, even in the end, when the last words are said, you'll think the book still continues in the other page.... I recommend this book to the people who like Science Fiction, or have nothing else good to do besides reading. I myself, don't recommend the book, because it will just seem like a lost of time, after you have read the final words, because it's an ending you can see from miles away.

Summary: I, the reader
Review: I have recently started reading the star wars books. I jedi is not the typical star wars book with the typical characters. It reveals new information about the jedi.It is a long book and hard to put down. I gave it 4 because no book deserves a 5.
