Rating: Summary: to think I almost didn't read this one... Review: I had heard so many bad things about this book, I almost didn't read it. That would have been a terrible loss- this has got to be one of the best Star Wars books ever written! Michael Stackpole, along with Timothy Zahn aand Kristine Rusch, is one of the greatest authors to ever write in the Star Wars universe. He has the gift of being able to find the perfect words to say exactly what he's trying to say and make it understood. First person presents a different point-of-veiw than the rest of the Star Wars universe but in a refreshingly new way. There are only two things that bothered me about this book: No one made the connection about who General "Desertwind" was, and I didn't get to see Tycho's face after the battle of Xa Fel.
Rating: Summary: Great Story, Great Author Review: This was a really great book. It was a different than any other book i read. Most books are just about the adventures of Leia, Han, Luke, etc. This book was about Corran Horn. It starts with adventure, but the middle is a completely different taste of the Star Wars universe. it is about training to be a Jedi (and its in detail, it's about the Dark Side and the Light Side and the struggle to start the JediOrder again. It was very interesting. Then, the end was back to adventure again. A great mix. I recommend this book to all Star Wars fans. It's very enjoyable.
Rating: Summary: D@MN good book!!! Review: The Jedi of this time are about the COOLEST Jedi I have read about. Putting Keiran in the Jedi Academy when the Jedi Academy Trilogy took place was brilliant. Stackpole made this story as well as all his others, better even.
Rating: Summary: Great book. Review: I'm a big fan of the X-Wing series, the first four of which were written by none other than Michael Stackpole. When I found out about I, Jedi, I was obviously excited. Corran Horn has been my favorite character throughout the entire series and I couldn't wait to read a book that was devoted entirely to him. I was not disappointed. This has been one of my favorite books of all time. I've read it twice so far, and plan to read it again.
Rating: Summary: Awesome Review: Great fighting scenes, and great wording in battle sequences... Stackpole captures attention and places emphasis where other authors try but fail... excellent storytelling...
Rating: Summary: Excellant! The best Star Wars book I have read! Review: Michael A. Stackpole has created one of the best Star Wars novels every writen. The character Coran Horn is one of the most intriging I have ever read about. I especialy loved the way Stackpole wrote the book from a first person view. It makes you feel like your right there in the story. I also like how he put Coran in the back ground of the Jedi Accademy story. The only thing that I would like is for him to countinue with another book dedicated solely to the character of Coran Horn.
Rating: Summary: Best By Far!!! Review: This is the best of the Star Wars books. The characterization is incredible. Any Star Wars fan should first read the X-Wing series and then read this book. Trust me you'll love it. May the Force be with you!!!
Rating: Summary: GOOD IDEA!!!! Review: Bringing back Rogue Squadron's finest was an excellant idea! Corran Horn's latent Jedi abilities are finally shown through in this book. Stackpole also used Corran's experienc as a former Corsec officer along with the Force to make this story a one of a kind.
Rating: Summary: the jedi are back with a vengeance Review: this book kicked bootie corran horn is a great asset to the star wars universe and has been explored in depth, an honor for charectors in this universe
Rating: Summary: Excellent story! Review: An excellent continuation of Corran Horn's story. Expands on being a Jedi along with great action sequences. The change to a first person point of view form third person was a little confusing at first but soon forgotten. Geat book! Five Stars
