Summary: At all Costs, Stay Away
Review: I am a major Star Wars Fanatic, and even I can't stand this novel, or even the whole trilogy. Anderson's treatment of everyones favorite characters is grusome, and the characters he invented are one sided rip-offs. If you must read this, be sure to read Micheal A Stackpoles's I Jedi right after, it will explain much.

Summary: Filling the space
Review: While I do see the merits of many of the other reviewers, I can't bring myself to judge the author in such a way. The ineptitude of many of the characters is beyond reason. Many of the main characters are amazingly flat for their place in the book. However, the events in this trilogy are part of the timeline and cannot be ignored, especially by those involved in the Star Wars Role Playing Game. May the Force be with you.

Summary: verry good book
Review: i thought first few chapters were a little slow.but after Han the the rest of them go into the mine it starts to get interesting. and then when they fin the Maw intalation, is when it starts getting realy good. I thought the part Where Lando gets the money from that one person for capturing the guy who cheated at the Blob Races was kind of ironic, after all, Land had given up his greed for money and all of a sunden he gets millions of credits!

Summary: ONE OF WORST STAR WARS BOOKS EVER
Review: I am a Star Wars freak who likes almost anything that has to do with Star Wars but not this. Bad plot, bad characters, and low actionas were all the books in the Jedi Academy Serises. Kevin J. Anderson if you want to write Star Wars novels they better be better. And my final word NO ONE READ THIS

Summary: Iffy, at best.
Review: I've read many other SW books, and don't find Jedi Search up to snuff compared with a number of others. The characters who are known from the movies are not "themselves" in this book, and the excuses don't really make it believable. Slightly original, I have to give to KJA, but if you're looking for the real feel of the Star Wars universe, I suggest A.C. Crispin or Tim Zahn.

Summary: I THOUGHT IT WAS THE BEST WRITTEN BOOK IVE EVER READ
Review: I THOUGHT KEVIN J. ANDERSON OUT-DONE HIMSELF WITH THIS BOOK. THE ONLY BOOK THAT I HAVE READ THAT WAS BETTER THAN IT WAS THE NEW REBELLION.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Not Quite.
Review: Ok I read this book. I'm not a Star Wars freak, but I enjoy any good Science Fiction out there. But this book simply didn't do it. Terrible characters, badly written plot and cliche's that make you laugh out lound are only some of the bad aspects of this book (and indeed the entire trilogy). If you want a really good Star Wars trilogy then read the Heir to the Empire novels by Timothy Zahn. At least they sound like they have been writen by an adult instead of a ten year old kid.

Summary: Don't waste your money--it only gets worse...
Review: If pedestrian plots, unrecognizeable characters and idiot villians are your cup of tea, you might like this book. If not, don't waste your money. Anderson performs the same abysmal hatchet job he performed on the X-Files. Daala is a blantant rip-off of Thrawn and Mara Jade (hm, so-called brilliant commander and red hair...do you see the connection?) who simply got an Admiral's rank by sleeping her way to the top. Kyp (I'm going to spoil this trilogy right now) is a whiny brat who falls to the Dark Side, kills billions of people, and is forgiven instantly. Our favorite characters such as Luke, Han and Leia are unrecognizable. Wedge Antilles and his "Bodyguard"-eque fixation with the moronic engineer Qwi Xux are only a single exampe of Anderson's "Dating Game" approach to Star Wars. The only possible reason to buy this book is so that Michael Stackpole's marvellous "I, Jedi" will make some kind of sense. (And prove that Stackpole has more imagination than to create characters such as Daala, Kyp, Gantoris and rest of the laughable Jedi apprentices.) If Zahn and Stackpole are too advanced for you, read "The Glove of Darth Vader." At least it has a recognizeable plot. Anderson should stick to tech writing. At least then he doesn't have to do characterizations.

Summary: The best book yet!
Review: This is the best Star Wars book yet, and is most definitly worthy of the name Star Wars. I recommend this book to all true Star Wars fans, and to those who have just begun to explore the Star Wars universe.

Summary: The Star Search is Over
Review: This is a great book to start a great series. I enjoyed reading this book not once but many more times. Its another great books that expands the universe for all you Star War fans.
