Summary: One of Koontz's BEST!!!!!
Review: While Dean Koontz is always the masterful storyteller this novel lifts his art to a new level. What makes this novel appealing to me is that it is right on the borderline between science fact and science fiction with just enough of a twist in the story line to keep me off balance. I think this is one of Koontz's very best efforts.

Summary: This book kicked a**!!
Review: Dean Koontz is my favorite author, and this book really shows his talent. His mix of science fiction (time travel), suspense, and reality has rarely been expressed by many authors; except for Koontz. He has a talent for great climaxes and plots, and he's able to delve into the human mind and soul.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: This book is non-stop action right from the beginning!
Review: Of all the 26 novels I have read from Koontz, Lightning is definately one of my top 5 favorites. This book has so many dimensions, all adding a uniqueness which compells the reader to not want to put it down. The only disappointment is when it finally comes to an end, in which case you'll want to read it again and again. -Corinne Gomez L.A., CA

Summary: He's done it again
Review: Once again the master of suspense has gripped his readers by the throat and holds on tight. I have read all of Koontz's books and Lightning is one of my favorites.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best Koontz and one of the Best Science Fiction Stories ever
Review: Science fiction, particularly time travel, is a difficult venue. Koontz once again proves to be an accomplished master of suspense as well as of science fiction. Paradox, which haunts most time travel novels, is carefully avoided. This is an outstanding work with a great plot which should be a part of any sci-fi buff's permanaent collection.

Summary: An okay story ruined by plot contrivences...
Review: Scientist from the future uses time travel to protect the life of a girl in our time. She grows up through several horrific events to become an author. A passible story gets jolted in serveral points as Koontz attempts to explain major plot holes by saying his protagonist "did research on it for a novel"

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best Dean Koontz Book Ever!
Review: Once again Dean Koontz triumphs. Dean Koontz has written alot ofbooks, but none have ever made me think as much, or care about the characters more than in Lightning. I've read alot of Dean Koontz books, but this is by far the best. Dean Koontz gives such a rich background of the characters. And just when you think that everything is semi-normal, Dean Koontz throws you for a loop! This is a must read book for all Dean Koontz fans!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great suspense.
Review: If you love a great cross between horror/suspense and a little bit of science ficton, you'll love this book. I have to admit, I hate sci-fi. I don't like time travel and other stuff like that--but this book rocked! I'm starting an on-line horror book club. If you're interested, e-mail me at the above address.

Summary: Lightning gives a new insight into the realm of time travel!
Review: Well writen, this book is the very typical Koontz novel. His story lines keep the reader reading until they have completed the book. Not his very best but worth reading as it tells the stuggle of a man to do right when he is surrounded by so much evil.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: one of his best
Review: a great story of time travel and love , plus a car chase that has to be the best ever written.
