Summary: Pretty Good!
Review: I thought this book was great! It's one of my favorites and I tell all of my friends to read it. There are some hilarious parts in it and I loved it!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A good book but...
Review: This is a good book. I do have some problems with it though.

There must be hundreds of force strong people liveing on Dathomir. Why dont we hear about them before hand?

At the end of the book, Luke finds all those records. They were never mentioned again. Why?

Leia is NOT the kind of person who goes running away from the person she loves because her knight in shinig armor comes along. She never would have dumped Han because Isolder came along.

Aside from those things, the book is excellent. I would reccomend it to anyone who likes Star Wars.

Summary: Okay ,but ...................
Review: This was an okay book (but not nearly on the level of the Zahn novels) .The Hapans were pretty intresting ,as were the 'Witches' of Darthomir .The new characters are quite intresting and the villians (Zsinj ,Gethzerion) are intresting but are rather undefineded .I do have a few problems with this book :1)Considering Palpatines rather dim view of Force wielders not under his heel (remember what happened to the Jedi !!) ,why didn't he try to enslave them ?He (and Vader) did destroy the Jedi so would a few hundred primitive women (remember the Imperial view of women) really be that difficult to crush .They went to all that effort trying to get Luke and could not be bothered seducing several dozen servants to the Dark Side !!!2)If they didn't want to seduce them why didn't Palpatine (or Zsinj for that matter) blow them up ??A single Star destroyer can (at the very least) destroy ONE village from orbit .There are 12 villages onplanet (I think) and a competant Imperial taskforce could decimate the entire planet in under an hour .While we do not see much of Zsinj ,he is supposed to be a great warlord .Palpy may have some reason to keep the Nightsisters alive but Zsinj doesn't .So either he has an IQ on par with Admiral Daala or this is a serious oversite (the Imperials take all that effort to keep the Nightsisters planetbound and then easily blow them up when they reach space !!!!!!!!) .Apart from these rather credibility stretching elements it is an okay novel .

Summary: Simply awesome! The best!
Review: Dave Wolverton really captured my imagination in this book. It is one of the best Star Wars books out there, but if you want the very best Star Wars book, you should check into Heir to the Empire or I, Jedi.

Summary: Superbly Done!
Review: I'll admit it, I was a skeptic to the story, but so much more goes on than the title sugests. For anyone who has read the X-Wing novels, it adds the closure you were looking for.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Amazing, star-wars at its best!
Review: I think that one of the best things about the book, is that in all the books to come, they countinue the story. Jaina, Jacen and Anikan are the best example. I really liked the Prince and the witches too.

Summary: THE BEST!!!!!
Review: If you ever had wondered how Han & Leia came togeather like they did this is the book. I loved the plot and the way the writer wrote this book. I didn't want to put this book down. It was far better than the Childern of the Jedi. But if your going to read this book you might want to read this one first.

Summary: One Of The Best
Review: Really good except for the ending I wanted to know what Han and Leia's wedding went but all I got was half a page! Whats up with that?

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: I thought that it was good.
Review: It is my favorite SW book ever. Mostly because Han and Leia are my favorite characters. But I was most disappointed that their wedding was barely even a page. I mean wasn't their wedding the whole point of the book?Thats why I gave it a 4. But other than that I thought it was a good book. I think that their wedding should've been a whole chapter.

Summary: so-so
Review: Its a book you will enjoy reading, but all the while know its no masterpiece.

I read it because I was interested in reading more about Han and Leia. On the subject of the famous couple.... Sometimes this book is very touching... And other times you just wished there was some way to reach in a book and slap the characters to get them to think straight. The desperation Han feels over loosing Leia, and the great lengths he takes to make her choose him is sweet. However, Han was made out as uncharacter- isticly whiney and pathetic. And Leia was made out to be snobby and mean on occasions.

Regarding Luke... He was irritatingly emotionless. An obvious case of taking the mysterious Jedi Master Image way too far.
