Rating: Summary: Keeps You Going Review: I've read Courtship 16 times and I still find it intresting! People have reviewed it saying it's unbealivable I don't know what they're talking about! Leia has almost always put the Rebellion first in her life and this book shows you how deep her devotion is. It gives you a good look at what Han would really give up to be with Leia. If you love Star Wars or not it's a must. It packs in Drama,Romance,Comedy,Sci Fi, and more!

As it happens, this prince is not willing to give up.Joined by Luke Skywalker, who is unsure of the dangers his sister isstuck with, the two men venture near Dathimorem ...This was anexcellent novel, I truely enjoyed it. I recomend it to anyone, whether the hate Star Wars or love it.
Rating: Summary: A decent SW read Review: This is a decent Star Wars read, third only to Zahn and possibly Stackpole. Although it does not have the real spirit or essence of the Zahn trilogy, Wolverton creates enough action, adds enough interesting characters, and makes the plot flow well enough for me to enjoy this. The idea of the Hapan Battle Dragon and the character of Isolder are both quite intriguing. Also, the action is almost reminescent of Zahn. The ending is somewhat of an anamoly. The showdown between Luke and the witches is somewhat disappointing, but I found myself cheering Han on as he battles Zsinj. There are a couple of inconsistencies, such as Luke's lightsaber being blue. Also, all these Jedi that seem to exist despite what Yoda told Luke about him being the last of the Jedi is starting to get a little annoying, but the tension betwen Zsinj and the Nightsisters is enjoyable enough for me not to mind. Another problem I had was with satelites that are supposed to block out the sun...this does not help the plot. Also, Han has too much slapstick humor. In the end though, like I said, this is one of the better SW novels.
Rating: Summary: ONE OF THE BEST OF THEM ALL Review: This is my favorite of all the star wars books. I originally read it when it first came out but have re-read it several times since. I now have a basis for comparison. Han is my favorite character, so any book that has a lot of him in it is likely to be a favorite. The story starts when it looks like Han will lose Leia. He wins a planet for her then kidnapes her to that planet. We are then introduced to the force power witches. One ends up in lukes jedi academy. Reading this book is a must in my opinion because some of it is the basis for future books. The story has action, danger and romance. The characters are true to what we expect. The book also continues the story of war lord Zsing (and completes it) from x-wing series. I only wish that Dark Horse comics would do this book as a comic like they did the Thrawn trilogy.
Rating: Summary: DUMB title...but good book! Review: When I first saw this book, I did one of those, "You have GOT to be kidding me" looks when I read the title. Wolverton is a pretty good author, and this is the best title he could come up with?? Okay...enough kidding. Look past that and you'll see a pretty good Star Wars story underneath. I particularly enjoyed the verbal jibes between Prince Isolder & Solo. All in all Mr. Wolverton has written a good addition to the Star Wars saga which is stretching way too thin with some authors who just have no talent for writing good space opera. The re-introduction of the rancor was a special spot for me since I loved the one who was given a permanent headache in 'Jedi' compliments of Luke. Let's face it: Writing Star Trek books is an easy task for some sci-fi authors...but writing good Star Wars books is even more difficult. We are less forgiving, and very attatched to these characters. Treat them without respect and you'll be lucky to get anything more than 3 stars on Amazon. Treat them the way Lucas wrote them and you'll sell millions. I like to think of Timothy Zahn as the bar by which all other Star Wars books are measured, mostly because he IS the BEST out there. But to give him his due, Wolverton has given us a fun adventure and plausible scenario as to exactly HOW Han & Leia eventually tied the knot. Kudos to Wolverton!
Rating: Summary: Good, but a bit unbelievable Review: More than a bit farfetched, I found this book a little hard to swallow. First off, what is the deal with these 'witches?' Surely, the Emperor would've sensed their presence in the Force. And they beat a buch of Jedi, including Yoda? I think not. Riding rancors? Well, at least we know they're good for something, but, I just had a hard time seeing that. Leia, Leia, Leia. The first time some rich, handsome prince comes along, she totally forgets Han. I mean, how many times did he save her? Did she completely forget that "I love you!", "I know." thing? She is written totally out of character. Luke, oh what can I say about his character? I think writers have a hard time wirting him, but I've never seen anyone do as bad a job as Wolverton did. Zsinj, if you haven't read the X-Wing books, is a character with no depth or personality. I would reccommend reading the X-Wing books first, so you get an idea about who he is. I found great interst in Isolder and Teneniel. They were well written and quite interesting. They had depth, and were totally believeable. Not a bad book, but just a little on the unbelievable side. I found it enjoyable, and it was kind of fun to read. The pacing is good and the style is really easy to get into. Just don't expect too much out of this book, and you'll get along fine.
Rating: Summary: Court this book cause it is the best Review: I LOVED IT I LOVED IT I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!! By far this book was the best of them all. Full of action romance and fun it was a book couldnt put down. It gave me new faith in Star Wars Books after reading The Truce at Bakura.
Rating: Summary: Kiss my Wookie!! Review: This is one of my favorite Star Wars books. I recommend this one to all of my friends, especially if they don't like Star Wars, and I want them too. The romantic story of Han trying to win Leia away from Prince Isolder I found humorous, and I liked Dothomir. If it was a real place, I would want to go there. Between the rancors and the witches, it makes for an amazingly exciting story that I have reread millions (not literally) of times. This is an amazing book
Rating: Summary: A GREAT ACTION PACKED BOOK Review: In The Courtship of Princess Leia there were many more Force sensitive "witches" that try to destroy Luke Skywalker and his friends. Then they meet the other group of force strong people that want to help destroy the "withches". Leia is in a deep struggle of what to do with her life. I very handsome prince from a ring of planets has asked to marry her. If she does the system will join the Rebel Allience, if she doesn't they won't. The Courtshipp of Princess Leia is a great book for all audiences.
Rating: Summary: Great Book! Review: I have read this book more times then I can remember. It tells you how Han and Leia really decided to get married. It takes about 4 years after Return of the Jedi. Dave Wolverton is a very talented author, which is shown in this book.
