Summary: A book any Star Wars fan should read.
Review: I don't know about anyone else, but I was beginning think Leia and Han were never gonna tie the knot. They almost don't in this book thanks to some dweeb called Prince Isaldor or something like that. Now I think I'm about ready for Luke to get married. Any way read this book and the other ones after it. This is probably the best book after the original Star Wars Trilogy.

Summary: Best book of the Star Wars novels by far
Review: An exiting and romantic novel-a must read for Star Wars fans. Princess Leia must choose between Han Solo and a wealthy prince who brings with him the promise of powerful alies. Meanwhile Luke Skywalker must discover the deadly secrets of the ship The Eye of Palpatine before its too late. A masterpiece of action, suspence, romance, and mystery.

Summary: This book is great!
Review: I have read sevelal "Star Wars" books and I have found that this one is really good. I think that no one should buy a book without having some idea if it's good or not. I would say this is a good book and if you don't want to buy it then at least check it out from the library.

Summary: This book is a book I'd recomend to any Star Wars fan!
Review: This book, being briefly detailed tells the whole story behind Prince Isolder's destiny! This was my first Star Wars book, the book that coaxed me into reading others. I hopothosize that Dave Wolverton must have put "tons" of effort into writing this book! I once again recomend this action-packed Star Wars novel to be either checked out or bought!

Summary: What is wrong with you people? WELL???
Review: I loved this book. The characters were the same as always, we just got to see DIFFERENT ASPECTS of their personalities. Though SOME PEOPLE said that was bad, I considered it a treat.

Summary: A difficult read
Review: I give this a five because it was a Star Wars book. It was hard to follow, because the author writes in long drawn out sentences. I agree with the last guy, Han is a disappointment in this book and completely out of character (a wuss). If you can live without knowing how they got together, skip it and go on. I would like to see this book rewritten with the original snotty princess and the greedy space pilot.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: a page turner with only a few problems
Review: On the whole an intriguing tale that offers a surprising amount of insight into some underdeveloped characters & situations (Leia, Threepio, the Force from the perspective of others). However, Han Solo's actions are both out of character and unexplained, and some plot points go to waste (finding the lost jedi academy ship without actually taking us inside was a flat out tease). Worth the read, adds much to the Star Wars Universe.

Summary: This is the worst star wars book ever!!!!!!
Review: I can't believe this was actaully written. It doesn't have any of the intense space battles, action, and awesome aliens that star wars is known for.The plot has no point and makes you want to ignore that this story could ever have happened in the star wars universe. It changes george lucas's idea of what Han and Leia's relationship is in the movies. You'll hate the fact it was ever written.I have read a short story by Dave Wolverton that was actaully good but he missed what star wars was all about here and wrote an incredibly bad book.If you want to read a good starwars book try Shadows of the Empire or something by Zahn or Anderson.Trust me on this one. This book sucks!!!

Summary: Very Exciting, Riveting!
Review: I am a devote reader of Dave Wolverton as well as a devote Star Wars fan. I thought this was one of the best Star Wars books I ever read! When the book told that Darth Vader and the Emperor himself were afraid to go to Dathomir for fear of the witches there, I got goose bumps! Dave Wolverton goes beyond most other authors in painting a realistic picture and understanding human nature and behavior, as well as having a prophetic vision of the future. I think James Lane (jlane@istar.ca) should keep his opinions to himself! He obviously has some personal problems with expressing himself

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Silly plotline
Review: I liked this book, don't get me wrong, but the plotline was truly silly. Even Han is not dumb enough to do some of the things he supposedly did in this book. I feel it was rather insulting to his character. I have read all the Star Wars books, and like all series, some books are better than others. It is enjoyable, but IMHO it's just not as great as some of the other reviewers say, and it's certainly not as bad as the first reviewer made it seem
