Summary: Good
Review: This is not my favorite Star Wars book, but it's close. Zahn skipped right to "They were married, and Leia's pregnant" and i remember asking myself "When did that happen? I want to know about the wedding!" (Zahn's was the first I read last year) When I picked up Courtship I was expecting a sappy romance novel with no action whatsoever, I was sooooo wrong! it was romantic, WITH hard decisions to make on Leia's part, ACTION, and something fun, a planet full of Force strong women with men as slaves! Ha Ha! Dave Wolverton is definitly one of the better Star wars writers, I would be first in line, if he wrote another Star Wars (perhaps a Courtship of Mara Jade type thing, lol)

Summary: ABSOLUTELY, THE BEST!!!
Review: This book is by far the best I've ever read. My other favorite is The Bacta War, but this easily beats out that. This book has everything you could ask for. It's got rancors AT-ATs, AT-ATs, lots of witches with Jedi Powers, lightfights, and a whole lot more!!! This book is definetly a must read!!!!

Summary: This book is totally Star Wars!
Review: "The Courtship of Princess Leia" was outstanding! The competition between Isolder and Han was great, and it showed the confusion Leia must have felt very well. There were few differences between Isolder and Han, which made the choice even harder for Leia. This book showed how much Han truly loves Leia. In my opinion, the fact that Leia was being pushed towards marrying Isolder when she loved Han was a real cliffhanger. It showed that we often have to make difficult decisions on our own, not just do what people tell us to do. Luke's part was relatively small but of great importance to the "witches" of Dathomir. The Queen Mother seemed ruthless and uncaring yet that was needed at the main time of her rule. Over all this book is of great importance to the following books and is a must read.

Summary: Excellent Book!
Review: This book was fabulous. It was exciting and suspenseful. I liked Isolder and the Queen Mother. I think the characters wer so realistic I could almost hear the voices. A must read if you are a Star Wars fan.

Summary: The Best Star Wars novel thus far
Review: The Courtship of Princess Leia is a great adventure story, but not much romance if that's what you're looking for. The characters are well-developed, and the entrance of new characters and the planet Dathomir will continue to be the subject of Star Wars fiction for a long time. If you want to know the true story of how Princess Leia and Han Solo got married, read this!

Summary: Not worthy of the name "Star Wars"
Review: I was reading through the other reviews of this book, and I was amazed to see how many people gave it high ratings. This book completely lacked the Star Wars magic and the well-written style of some other books. First of all, the references to witches was a little strange. Aren't we in the Star Wars universe here? Did they even HAVE witches? Another thing I didn't like was the competition between Han and Isolder. Han and Leia have a solid relationship at the end of RotJ, and Han is jealous of some over-bulked, non-intelligent prince? And furthermore, so jealous that he knocks out Leia and kidnaps her? Totally un-Star-Wars-like. I have read many, many books since this one and have found none that I liked less.

Summary: One of the Best!
Review: It's hard to believe that Han Solo and Leia Organa got married, considering the way that they first met and treated each toher after that. But I'm glad that they did. It was not always the best, but no body's perfect, right?

Summary: The BEST Star Wars Book Out There !
Review: I loved the whole idea of the story. I always wanted the authors to give a good-detailed description of how Princess Leia and Han Solo got together and this book explained it. Mr. Zahn skipped all the way to the first few months of Princess Leia's preganancy. This book talked about her struggle between Prince Isolder and King Solo (Han Solo). It was funny and I laughed out loud in a few parts and I had to read some parts to my friends because I had never heard Leia and Han fight like that before. It was also so cute the way Luke and Teneniel Jo met and fell in puppy love. This was the best book yet and I wish George Lucas would make a movie from this book. I think it would be a blockbuster. I can't wait to see the prequels. This is a great site. Thanks!

Summary: THE BEST!!!!
Review: Though I have read this book about a few years ago, I felt that it is THE BEST book in the post-RETURN of the JEDI series. For me, I think this is the only book that gives much credit, the only book that emphasizes largely on the original main characters, especially Luke Skywalker... Not like the other Star Wars authors wherein they really donwplay, and "discredit" Luke's abilities as a Jedi Master... For example, in one book, Luke was in a situation wherein he wants to use the force to move an AT-AT logged between walls, and he wasn't able to do so... I thought Yoda said that "size matters not..." Through this author's eyes, did he see that Luke still hasn't learned his lessons????

Anyway, "The Courtship of Princess Leia" is the BEST... I only wish that Mr. Wolverton would write more STAR WARS novels...
