Summary: The story is Azreal as any story could be!
Review: Another good attempt at philosophy by the leading fictional writer of our time. Terry P has given new meaning to the words 'Reaper' and 'Man'. They now mean 'You won't stop reading' and 'Until the book's done' respectively. If the images were the only things right, it would still be a good book. If the jokes were the only things right, it would still be a good book. If the characters were the only things right, it would still be...enough of that: IT'S A GOOD BOOK! READ IT!

Summary: Great, still keeping his same old witt I see
Review: Reaper man was the latest Terry pratchet book I've read and I found It hillariously funny yet not as humorouse as one of his newer books, Last Continent, Jingo Etc. But I still hold it high as one of my top 5. His ideas are great and original and I'd strongly recomend it.

Summary: Terryiffic!
Review: I will never be able to get over the genius contained within the body of this merely human author. Words like witty, clever, funny, amusing and unbelievably gifted spring to mind. You will love this book and the best joke is saved for the last page!

Summary: The Grim Reaper is anything but grim here.
Review: I was introduced to Terry Pratchett's work in Edinburgh when a theatre group performed Hogfather during the Edinburgh festival. Despite freezing cold weather(it was performed outdoors) I was hooked for good. I returned to the states, bought Reaper Man, read it, and I LOVE IT!!!! I advise you though, do not read it in public, because you will surely be laughing out loud!!

Summary: Hilarious ! You'll die laughing (pun intended) !
Review: This excellent novel gives Death a character - & how ! Death as a farm hand, the committee of Equal Rites (including the first banshee with a speech impediment), Mrs Cake & Windle Poons (a wizard who suffers from clinical -well- life) - this one has it all. After reading "Reaper Man" you'll never look at life -or death- the same way. Pratchett's amazing gift is that he puts you through a real philosophical grinder, but you never know it at the time. You'll love Death - & if you don't, you should have been an auditor. Read & discover.

Summary: Somewhere Between Amazement and Laughter
Review: I just reread this book recently. and it just proved to me once more what a clever and wise magician Terry Pratchett is. Full of adventure and calamity, with romance tucked in on the side. And always with something to smile or laugh about. But what impresses me most is that when I read something like "Reaper Man" I finish the book feeling like I've been through the philisophical wringer and never realized it. There isn't any writer I've ever read who accomplishes so much wonder, laughter, wit and wisdom in the words of one single book.

Summary: I LOVE DEATH!!
Review: A hilarious and profound look at DEATH, life, love, the undead, and the evolution of shopping malls. DEATH is Pratchett's greates character, along with DEATH OF RATS.

SQUEAK.

Summary: Facing Death with a smirk
Review: Reaper man is probably the definitive work about DEATH, and pretty hilarious to boot. Terry Pratchet does make you laugh about the concept of Death, join Death in It's journey trough unemployment and down to earth living (xcuse the pun), after reading Terry's antropomorphisation (phew, long word, he.) of Death you'll never have anything but sweet and funny dreams about It (nightmares are really something reserved for other author's Imaginary Universes. If reality was made of imagination, Terry Pratchet would be the sole owner.

Summary: The poor guy.
Review: The man (figuritively speaking) I am referring to is Death. Pratchett's books make me really appreciate what poor old Death has to go through all the time. And he makes me laugh too.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A DEADLY GOOD BOOK (and filled with much better puns)
Review: I have read most of the Discworld books, including the entire Death series, and this is quite honestly the best. Where else would Death get fired? Where else would you get a Dead Rites Society? Who else but the immortal Pratchett could come up with this stuff? Plus, (and this is the best part) Death goes on a... well, just buy the book already! Oh, and it has Azreal, shadow of all creation, (last seen in Good Omens.) Buy the book! NOW!
