Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A ROMANCE/TEAR JERKER IF ANY! Review: I have never read a book before that not only captured my heart but also made me cry.The only thing that's come close was when I read Where the Red Fern Grows and the script to The Phantom of the Opera. This book moved me like no other did!My body flowed with the love that Moreta and Alessan shared and I bawled when the news came that Moreta and Holth had died.I found it tragic and moving when Orlith did'nt go between and instead carried on with Leri as a partner.THIS IS A MUST READ!And I'm really picky about everything. This book will fill you with passion and grief at the same time.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: I loved this book! Review: I have read every book from the Pern series, but this one was considerably my favorite. Not only did I cry for quite a while, during AND after I read the book :) ... but it was, in my opinion, an incredible yarn that left all others I have read behind. Not only is this my favorite book from the Pern series, but I think it is the best book I've ever read.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: GREAT, TOTALLY AWESOME! Review: I have read lots of Anne McCaffrey's works and this is one of the greatest! It really explains the Ballad of Moreta's Ride, which I've heard about in lots of books by AM. It ROCKS! You should definitely read this if you have read Pern adventures, or even if you haven't! I highly recommend this book and "The Masterharper of Pern". READ 'EM QUICK!
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: A nice fill-in for the Pern series Review: I like this story but it doesn't capture my attention the way some of the other Pern stories do. It does fill in some important info for Pern devotees and that, alone, would be worth it.The focus is not so much on the dragons of Pern but on the people and how they deal with the unexpected disaster of an epidemic.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Great Book (all I have to say) Review: I loved this book but the end was sad but I won't give it away. I was amazed at how their ways are like F'lar & Lessa's after how the Oldtimers are.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: One of my favorite Pern books Review: I really enjoyed this book. I thought it was sweet, and sad, and exiting all at the same time. I love the books that really give you an in-depth picture of life on pern. A note to the person who thought Lessa was the first to time it. She got the idea in the first place by hearing the balled about Moretta's ride.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Moreta: Dragonlady of Pern Review: I thought that this book was very good. I like fantasy and science-ficiton books so I like Anne McCaffrey's books. I am going to read another book in the series next. The only thing I didn't like about the book was the ending, but I won't spoil the book for anyone who wants to read the book.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: ONE OF HER BEST Review: If you are the type of person who likes to get caught up in books, you must read this one! I personally love getting involved in the forbidden love between the two main characters. I admit that I cried, but how could you not? I would also recommend (if you like sad love stories) THE MASTERHARPER OF PERN as well as DRAGONSDAWN. I hope that (if you read them) you will enjoy them as much as I did.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: This is one of her best Review: If you like the Pern series, then you'll probably like this book. It's interesting, and full of likeable characters. The story itself is very enjoyable. I liked it alot. Okay
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Anne McCaffery's best Pern book ever! Review: In my opinion, Moreta: Dragonlady Of Pern is AM's best Pern book ever. It's incredibly sad and sweet, and left me sobbing for days afterward. It finally explained the whole Moreta's Ride ballad that I kept reading about in the other books as well, which was very nice. The characters are believeable, the plot is wonderful, and (as far as I could tell) all the loose threads tie together in the end. This is a book that any AM fan will not want to miss!
