Summary: One of my best science-fiction books I've ever read!!!!!!!!
Review: When I started reading this book I was more like: well I like the Star Wars movies let's see what they made of it. This is my first Star Wars book I read but it is definetly not the last...I'm gonna talk about why I think makes this book so good.

It starts off pretty fast with a lot of action and run against time scenes. I never read a book that is like that(I read many many books though). But something that made it very exciting was the way R.A. Salvatore wrote it. Sometimes something very exciting is about to happen you flip over the page and you see that a new chapter started. That sometimes really is annoying because then you first have to read 3 to 4 chapters about something that is happening in another part of the galaxy before the exciting part finishes. But as you probably will know this also makes you read a lot. And for me that meant a lot of sleepless nights.

All the action is not the main thing that interested me much. It was the whole galaxy, all the creatures, all the world, all the charachters you should know if you saw one of the Star Wars movies. While you read this review you will probably think: what a boring review!!! Well this is all straight from the heart like it or not this is how it is!!!

Summary: Great possibility added to the Star Wars galaxy
Review: Vector Prime is really good. I am by no means a proffesional book critic, but I can say that it is good and I wonder why people say it is bad. Sure, there is not much romance between Luke and Mara, but a lot happens with relationships between Jacen, Jaina, Anakin, and the adults. A lot of character development occurs, and that really helps out. Another thing that people complain about is the surprise that Salvatore puts in. Sure, it's sad, but it shouldn't make people say, "Well, that's awful!" Surprises happen, and characters only live for a certain amount of time. I'm glad Salvatore took it upon his shoulders to write what happened. That shows that he is a good author.

Review: Chewbacca dies, nuff said.

Summary: A sad yet exhilarating experience!
Review: I have read this book. It was hard to follow at first but after a while you get into it. The Yuuzhan Vong are an incredible warrior race like the Klingons. It is a book that shows how two different groups like the New Republic and the Vong can see each other. The N.R. sees the Vong as a barbaric race while the Vong see the N.R. as blasphemers for not following their beliefs. It cut into my soul when I found someone from the popular Star Wars group died. We didn't see a body, but it was one of those beyond a doubt no possibility of being alive situations. If you are a Star Wars fan and you want to know of the most epic battle the Star Wars galaxy has ever seen, read this book and the ones that follow. Otherwise, you are a blasphemer.

Summary: Liked it, despite some mistakes.
Review: Alright, this was the first Star Wars book I ever read, but still, I was familiarized with the expanded universe, the writing was compelling, enjoyable and very action-packed, the Yuuzhan Vong truly became convicing, fearsome foes: their tennets are just the opposite of a lot of elements in sci-fi stories (about that machines think that they're superior and try to take over the world).

I don't know about you, but in my taste the fact that Salvatore lets us know what the extragalactic enemies are planning destroys a lot the suspense, I'm saying this because since they're unknown enemies for the main characters, it would have been better if the writer also had made them unknown for the reader, however the reverse of this has counter: we realize how intelligent and cold blooded the Yuuzhan Vong are and thus they become more frightening.

Also the way it was written gives no hint of what terrible event shall come, the only low point I could find is: after his friend is killed, Han Solo makes completely incongrous changes of mood: in one scene he's devastated, in the next he's ok fighting, and on the next he's as sarcastic as ever, well, didn't Chewie's death hit him hard? What about human Psyque?

I also noticed some hints from ID4 (the first encounter between the Vong and the new republic was filled with great elements), and the Fifth Element (the falling moon), just read and compare, I liked this book despite of the minor flaws, I would recommend you this classic angular stone in the Star Wars Universe.

Summary: A lukewarm Sprite . . .
Review: That's kind of what I felt like I'd just consumed after reading Vector Prime. I can't quite put my finger on it. It's not because of a certain character's demise, or because we have a new enemy. I don't quite know what it is, except that well, a spacerace in an asteroid field drags on too long. Maybe it's that large portions of this book drag on too long. I don't know. But all I can suggest is that you skip this book, move on to Dark Tide I (an awesome book and good entry point into New Jedi Order), and find out who dies from any one of a thousand rabid fans looking for Salvatore's head on a platter ...

Summary: Amazing start for a fun new series!!!
Review: Steve Miller got me again hooked on Star Wars with his great short story: The Starfighter trap. After that I decided to try the new Jedi Order. Boy was I in for the read of a life time. I read the first few lines and was instantly hooked. R.A.Salvatore brilliantly writes a perfect beginning to a new series. The relationship he shows between the aliens and the humans is amazing. The way in which the humans sacrifice their selves for the good others, which is a direct contrast with the aliens whos actions are that there are no regrets to killing and no love of life or it's cultures. You can almost see the book as the directioin the United States is taking at this time. Struggling with agnostics and religion and how they both effect each other. Also the scene in which Han and Chewbacca are flying together is the funniest and most satisfying read I have ever had the pleasure of reading. R.A. Salvatore's book is great and has got me hooked to reading the rest of series. Thank you R.A.Salvatore.

Summary: Quality Star Wars fiction
Review: This is a top quality Star Wars book that brings the Solo kids (Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin) into young adulthood. Salvatore also expands the character base by fleshing out characters from the past and introducing many new ones. The loss of an important character sets up dynamics between the surviving characters that we have rarely seen before in Star Wars fiction. Don't let some of the negative reviews turn you against the next chapter of the Star Wars saga -- this is an exciting Star Wars book!!

Summary: A main character lost in the most reduculas situation.
Review: The heading is the best way to describe the way in which one of the greatest characters in the Star Wars universe. My wife summed up the situation, I told her of the lose of the character, and she wanted to know how the character died. I told her... she laughed and said "Are you serious?". That is when I also realised that it was REDICULAS. What a absolutly stupid way for the character to die. A moon fell on him... yep...I'll be mentioning that to others.. NOT! I think I'll make up my own story for the character's death...something just a little more realistic.
