Summary: Solo Command
Review: This was a good book. The hunt for Zsinj has intensified. Wraith Squadron, assisted by Rogue Squadron, will be led under the command of General Solo. Will the find and destroy Zsinj and the Super Star Destroyer Iron Fist?

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: It's a great book
Review: This is one of the best star wars books. It is about the fight betwwen Warlord Zsing and Han Solo.Once you finish this book you need to read The Courtship of Princess Leia.It is a must read.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Really nice plot development
Review: Could be easily the best book in the Wraith Squadron part of the x wing series. I was awed for the excellent description of the space battles and the great development of each character personality. I would have given it 5 stars but I think the casualty rate in the wraiths and rogues could have been higher to shake up the reader a little, like in the previous books. anyway its GREAT.

Summary: Fantastic!!! One of the best starwars novels ever!!
Review: This book continued in the tradition of the others in the X-wing series. It was just as explosive and fantastic as the others, with some incredible surprises along the way!! I highly reccomend it to anyone who enjoys the starwars universe!!

Summary: Great Book
Review: Excellent story although I liked Iron Fist better. Finally we do get to see an Ewok pilot (I knew it could be done) who isn't a fake. Ewok's rule.

Summary: It's Star Wars. What else can I say?
Review: Aaron captures the heart and soul of the New Republic Navy in this book. Even setting aside Myn's entrance into Rogue Squadron and Lara Notsil's final redemption, Aaron demonstrates a remarkable understanding for space combat in general and Star Wars history and technology in particular. I think that any sci-fi lover should read this book, although only true Star Wars addicts can really capture the full impact of it.

Summary: A Great Story Ties Things Up
Review: This story by Aaron Allston is absolutely great! The Wraiths, everyones favorite wise guy fighter jocks and the Rogues, the Top Guns of a Galaxy Far Far Away take on Zsinj. This has some of the best combat scenes of any of the books (it's nice to see more than 1 ship and a bunch of starfighter jockeys and a great balance of characters. Aaron Allston does a great job tying (or is it TIE-ing) in "The Courtship of Princess Leia" which previously had existed a little outside the rest of the plotline. Han Solo shows some responsibility while still remaining witty and Wedge Antilles gets a personality. An all around great book!

Summary: Better than the last Wraiths, but not quite there.
Review: In Solo Command, Aaron Allston take us on a trip to fight the notorious Warlord Zsinj. Let me get to the point. Slow and at times, much to much detail (I must be insane for saying that!), this book is better than the first two Wraith Squadrons but still no where near the elegant style of Rogue Squadron and The Bacta War. I liked the inroduction of Han Solo on the Mon Remonda but that was toyed with in Iron Fist (that book was very mediocre). This book has finally got on the right track with it's dogfights and characters, though the ending was lacking. Over all, Aaron Allston really needs to pick up the pace. Compared to the lightning pace of Rogue Squadron, this book seemed too slow, too little and too late. But I also agree with some other readers: Wedge needs to find a woman who can understand him and get him out of his mourning and put some life into him. Corran got Mirax, Kell got Tyria, Face got Dia. Somebody find Iella or a girl like her and help Wedge out.

My conclusion is simple. Not as good as the Rogues, but if you suffer through it, there is a plot and lightfight some where, deep inside. Buy it because it's good, but remember, Michael A. Stackpole is THE X-wing author and there is no other person alive who can match his writing skills (except Timothy Zahn).

Summary: Very Interesting
Review: This book was very interesting

Summary: Wedge has a sense of humor....go figure.
Review: I liked this book. I didn't overly care for Iron Fist, but Solo Command was great! I guess I just got tired of everyone taking things so seriously in the other novels....especially Wedge. Get the guy a woman, damn it! The character spends faaaarrrr to much time reminding others that he survived both Death Star runs. It was nice to see him finally turn the tables on poor Janson.....also is the point that Wedge "relaxed" for awhile, and was known as "one who looks like Commander Antilles". I liked Lara/Gara in this novel....strongly disliked the character in Iron Fist. I can hardly wait for Isard's Revenge! I like her character!
