Rating: Summary: This taste of Resident Evil will leave you itching for more! Review: S.D. Perry's first Resident Evil novel is a straight forward adaptation of the first game, perhaps a bit too straight forward. The characters run through all the game's famous spooky and gruesome obstacles, but it lacks a certain dramatic punch. Too often Perry opts to simply describe a brief run in with each of the game's threats and/or puzzles and then just rush on to the next one without any attempt at exploiting it for optimum suspense with a more drawn out battle and/or mental legwork. Despite that sometimes irritating weakness, the book, like the game, is just too much fun of a ride to not recommend. In the book's favor, Perry sketches in details and background that fleshes out the setting and characters quite nicely, leaving this reader hungry for more. Good thing it's become a series, the book is as addictive as the game, I couldn't put it down. Required reading for all Resident Evil fans.
Rating: Summary: A Deadly Read Review: Resident Evil:The Umbrella Conspiracy is S.D. Perry's first foray into the world of Resident Evil, and boy is it a treat. A warning though, if you haven't played through the game (or don't know the plot), and you plan to play through it don't read this book until you've finished. It gives away in the first little bit information that doesn't come until the end of the game. But if you know the RE score then by all means read it. The book gives insight into all of the characters, even those who were all but ignored in the game. The details, and how well it works in the actual game (plot wise) is amazing. I bought this book before I had read any reviews. I have yet to look back, and I don't regret it. The book will draw you in and hook you right until the end. Keep in mind though when you're reading the book that it might not fit into the rest of the game entirely since when the book was written games like RE:CV had yet to be made.
Rating: Summary: Resident Evil Retold Review: I bought Resident Evil the book 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. I loved them, and im not a book person just love Resident Evil anything. I couldnt put it down it was good , freaky, and spooky a nonstop thriller.

Rating: Summary: the novelized version of one of my favorite games Review: I was a huge fan of resident evil before reading this book and remembered when i first heard about a book based on one of my favorite games, i was soo excited. I really enjoyed ready this book because when it would describe a room, i would know exactly what's in there and what it looks like. This is based completely on the first resident evil(my favorite) and i was completely satisfied. diablo, starcraft.... now we just need a final fantasy novel!!! oh my god that would be the coolest!!! =)
Rating: Summary: Breath Taking Review: this book kind of truged on in the begining but then picked up in a flash and i would deffenitly recomend this book to all teens that enjoy a good on the edge suspence book!
Rating: Summary: 4 S.T.A.R.S. Review: This book truly captured the spirit of the game itself. It had puzzles built into this just like the challenging levels that we have grown used to with this name, Resident Evil. The only thing that faltered, was the ending, so don't get your hopes up for a shocking finale. Just remember, you have 5 more books to go.
Rating: Summary: Best Series of the year! Review: I give Resident Evil 5 stars. I'm a know-it-all for Resident Evil so when I say its the best book out there to read it is. I played all the games and nothing comes cloose to the books.Perry gave the readers chills done thier spines every page of her books. If you never played the games, read the books, or saw the movie this is a good time to do all three. I'm telling you you will never get a better book in your hands like this one.
Rating: Summary: What the Movie Should Have Been Review: This great noveization is what the movie should have been. SD Perry has a real gift for this kind of book. I'm surprised there hasn't been a Japanese anime of Resident Evil...
Rating: Summary: OHHH YEAH Review: ... I thought this was just like the game plus more. There are awsome parts in the book that get burned in your mind. If your a big time biohazzard fan like I am you should get this.
