Review: Yes, I understand if you've beaten the game you probably won't want to read it in a book right? Wrong! This book adds way more than the game has to offer. You get to see what happened before they entered the mansion. It's a great book. It keeps you on the edge. Once I started reading this book, I couldn't put it down. It's just that great.

Review: I have only played the game once, but this was the bomb. I read it in two days! I couldn't put it down. It was the most awesome book I have read in a long time! I can't wait to get the next book! If you like Resident Evil you must get this book! Get the whole series! The way S.D. perry descirbes the zombies is so freakin' cool. They say things like the crusty blood around it's lips. The prologue has some newspaper clippings. You must read this book! It's so cool!!!!!!!!!

Review: If you have played the game the book will be farily predictable. But if you just PLAY the game you don't experience the whole plot of the Umbrella Conspiracy. Besides S.D. Perry did a splendid job at putting more detail into the simple aspects of game (like in the caves, she describes how it feels, in the game it only shows you what it looks like). If you are an addict to the game, the series will be interesting because it digs into the cospiracy and the cover-up of the T-virus spill. I suggest, if you are into Resident Evil don't just pick up this book , pick up the whole series.

Review: I enjoyed resident evil. There were a few times when i found myself not being able to put it down,yes. But compared to other sci-fi horror action books, this one just doesen't get there. It tries, and tries, and falls. It was a good effort S.D. Perry, and i realize your talent, next time just don't make it so exactly like the game, or movie, or whatever you decide to write about. If you've ever played this game, and beat it, then there really is no need to get this book. If you haven't, it'll be a fun read, and then it'll be done. The characters are ok, sometimes boring and sometimes not. They story is cool but like i said before, if you've already mastered the game, the story wont feel like much. The writing? Well,...the action is fairly detailed but i would have liked more depth. Take for example a sample line like,"he shot and punctured two holes into the zombies soft, fleshy brain. Blood spit out onto the red, shaggy floor." It sounds kinda bland, and if your an avid book reader, chances are you've seen it all before. If your a new reader, like i was when i first read it, you'll definitly find it interesting. But now that i've read more books on the same genre by better authors, I don't find this one very interesting. Bottom lines: IF YOU'VE MASTERED THE GAME, DONT BOTHER. IF YOUR A NEW READER, GIVE IT A TRY, IT'LL ENTERTAIN YOU. IF YOUR AN AVID BOOK READER, DONT BOTHER.

Review: The game having poor acting does not account for this book's complete lack of writing skill. I was so inspired by this books stupidity that I wrote a report on it for English, pointing out its flaws. I could have exceeded the four pages that I used

Review: I haven't read the whole book yet (they've just now entered the mansion) but so far it's pretty cool. I liked the additional news-paper clippings in the prologue, and I LOVED how it described what the characters were doing that led up to the events in the game. However, I do not like how Jill swears so smegging much. Yes, it makes it more life-like, but she didn't swear in the game and her swearing in the book seems WAY out of character (this is why I give it 4 *s). I really LOVE the way the author goes into more detail with the introduction than the game provided. I am most decidedly looking forward to finish reading the book and the following books.
