Rating: Summary: don't be scared it won't kill you Review: ok we've played the game and we can read book, I mean come on do you realy want sit there and play the game for 3 hours or just read the book in less then one. I mean it's not as good as a dragonlance novel but it'll do.
Rating: Summary: An exiting, horrifying story that is unable to be put down Review: I enjoyed the book very much. The author,Stephani Danelle uses vivid details to express certain situations throughout the story. If I may quote from the story to give an example:[Speaking of dogs... There were a couple of them sprawled out across the stones, soft moonlight glistening against their wet, sinewy bodies.Chris edged up to one of them and crouched down, touching its flank. He quickly pulled his hand back, scowling; the mutant dog was sticky and warm. like it had been sheathed in a thick layer of mucous.]Stephani Danelle really made the book come alive. I also liked how the book had many scientific aspects such as the make up disease formula, the T-Virus and the living monstrousity,[Tyrant],in the hidden labs of the Spencer estate. There are also several hidden mysteries that remain unsolved[In ths book]such as who is Trent? Whose side is he on? Where is Spencer? Is Wesker really as good as he's cracked up to be? What is Chief Irons's problem, does he have an interior motive to destroy the S.T.A.R.S.? Some of these secrets will be revealed in "THE UMBRELLA CONSPIRACY", some will not. Overall, this sci-fi story is filled with mysteries, riddled with mind games, and splattered with horror.
Rating: Summary: A mediocre book for an incredible game. Review: Folks, if you've played the first Resident Evil all the way through, skip it. The book is basically a recap of the video game, striaght from the keys to the lab itself with a little bit before the game actually starts. With medicore action scenes and poorly thought out logic, skip this and hit Calibon Cove, it's much better.
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK IS AWSOME Review: if you like the game, resident evil, then you will absolutly LOVE this book. i am just a kid that is 13 years of age and even i like. This book is what they say, DA BOMB!!! it is based on the game, and it is like a strategy guide for it, but more essay like. take it from me(a science fition and horror freak)you will fall head over heals 4 this one. so if you really llike science fition, then you should add this to your colletion.
Rating: Summary: This book is awsome!!!!!!! Review: I'm a true fan of Resident Evil. I have every game! This book is so detailed, the way S.D. Perry describes the rooms, It's incredable! If you've ever played the game you would understand. It's the best book that I have ever read.
Rating: Summary: Now read the book and no one will get hurt!!! Review: You gotta read this book. It's all kind of twisted and turn and exciting and nail biting, and all of those other crazy stuff. The good parts are blood dripping, body ripping, blood sucking, and of course THE ZOMBIES!!!! I just don't wanna spill the fun out of it so just read the book.
Rating: Summary: Page turner Review: Wow. Not many would think a video game could be made into a good book, but it's been done. That's because the game was done with a good story. However, the writeing has beem vastly improved for this book. For example, instead of Rebecca coming in on Chris trying to play the piano, and Chris asking in a corny way "Can you play?" like in the game, Chris leaves Rebecca in the room for safety reasons. Rebecca, out of boredem, finds the song notes and plays (the song turns out to trigger a puzzle). It's really worth a look at. If you played the game, you'll smile ay how well Perry descibes the farmilar scenry. It's best if you've never palyed the game but plan on getting it after you finish the book. Without getting wordy and boring, Perry manged to decribe the rooms very well, and once you play the game, you'll see that your mind almost perfectly drew the rooms from Perrys descripions. Pluse, you'll have a basic idea of how to get through the game. Bottom line: Buy it. You'll really like it.
Rating: Summary: If you don't read read this book, you're crazy!!! Review: read it only if you're not afraid of what's under the bed..
Rating: Summary: It rules Review: This book is awesom
Rating: Summary: Very good Review: This book is a great one to read if you have played through the game, or if ou have not. I read this book knowing what all of the chracters and rooms looked like and I got a good mental picture of what was going on. S.D. Perry is a very discriptive writer.
