Rating: Summary: Impressive Review: I was impressed by how well Perry pulls of the difficult task of translating a video game into an exciting adventure novel. I've always been a big fan of the games, but to take them and make some kind of narative sense out of all the puzzels and such as well as adding plenty of characterization and then on top of that retaining the chills and fun of the games is a really challenging task. Perry pulls it off well and I find myself hoping this series continues with Perry at the helm.
Rating: Summary: Resident Evil rules! Review: I could not put this book down. Of all the books I`ve read this one is the best. Dogs, zombies, crows, snakes, spiders, hunters, plants, Tyrant. (Oh My) It was the best horror book I`ve read. I can`t wait to get the next one. The details were exilant. I would highly reckamend this book to one of my friends. The video game too.
Rating: Summary: The Tyrant Rules... Review: This was a great book that pulled you in as the Stars ran from the zombie dogs into the house. This book really makes you wonder if some sort of scenrio like this is waiting to take place or has taken place. Makes you wonder why some remote islands become nuclear tests sites huh? But all in all this book is for the fan of Resident Evil. If you have not lived the book in the Resident Evil games for the PC/Playstation/N64, then you don't know what you are missing. Read the book, play the game. Thats a order S.T.A.R.S.!
Rating: Summary: WOW i was scared STIFF! Review: It was a very good video game(even made me buy the playstation!)(but the author detailed and made this horrible (but cool) storie come to life! I was so Happy that it wasnt "redone" (the story was intact!) Also The was she made the Creatures come alive kept me on my toes waiting for more!(even though i knew the story! ) I cant wait till the next book! zombies, spiters, hunters ! oh my!
Rating: Summary: Dead Like Review: now the title does not mean it was boring, no way this book was very well written, and its a really cool book if you like zombies, or Resident Evil. if you read the book you will get what I mean when I say the book was Dead Like.
Rating: Summary: Yaaaawwwwwnnnnnn... Review: Dull. Boring. Tedious. I can't think of any other words to describe this book. Based on the Resident Evil video game, the book is never able to translate the creepiness of the game to paper. The only reason I would give for reading this book is for the Resident Evil junkie to get a broader picture of what went on inside the Spencer Mansion, otherwise, this book is just a waste of time.
Rating: Summary: Resident Evil The Umbrella Conspiracy Review: A must read for anyone who loves mystery suspence and gore. If you haven't played the game it makes the book that more enjoyable. If you have played the game you will find it is a bit predictable, however it is still worth the read because of the amazing detail.
Rating: Summary: Buy this Book Even if..... Review: I would buy this book even if you have beaten the game. It goes into detail about what each character is doing while the main character in the game is doing their things. I love the way that the author put the book together. She gives many good details andhas the book layed out really well. I really suggest that you read it and get the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but about what happened at the Raccoon Mansion.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: When I picked this up at the store I thought it would just be another of those boring video game-to-book novels, but as soon as I started it I couldn't put it down. I finished it the day after I got it. The author did a very good job transferring the video-game plot to a book and made it so I still recognized things from the game but still incorporated them as though they were completely original. She describes the characters and everthying else very well. I can't wait to buy the sequels.
Rating: Summary: blood guts action Review: Oh man was this a good book. I got it on a Saturday and read five chapters that night. It covered the game almost perfectly. Actually I think the book was better than the game because it told what every character was doing at a certain time. All of the characters where there, the zombies, the hellhounds, even the Tyrant. I really loved this book.
