Summary: The best Star Wars novel by far!
Review: Tim Zahn's conclusion to the Hand Of Thrawn series is a fitting end to the Bantam SW line. Zahn's masterful characters and plot twists are first rate reading for the Star Wars fans who feel that "Plot DOES Matter!" Our favorite characters are back to their original characterizations, and (thankfully) no silly Imperial Admirals, Dark Jedi or Super Weapons are needed in the telling of this fine tale. While reading this novel you will laugh, cry, and jump for joy. By the way... don't read ahead and stay away from spoilers of ALL kinds! The ending is more gratifying (and makes more sense) if you discover it on your own.

Review: This books set up a new era in the new star wars books. Thisbook set the stage by showing the settling down of the main charcters.Talon karrade shows him settling and getting away from illegal dealings and into more respectible line of work. But most of all we see that luke has dealt with his past . And mara jade finishes her jedi training and opens up to people.

Review: This book by Timothy Zahn captured my attention from start to finish. Among all the Star Wars authors, Zahn definitely knows how to tell agood story. Vision of the future is definitely one of my Science Fiction favourites. I can't wait for the next one.

Review: If you enjoyed Timothy Zahn's HEIR TO THE EMPIRE trilogy, you're in for a real treat with VISION OF THE FUTURE! This book is the brilliant, exciting, astonishing conclusion to the story that was begun in SPECTER OF THE PAST. Tim Zahn is a masterful storyteller! He takes his multi-dimensional characters and his rich plots and subplots through many unexpected twists and turns before he finally weaves them all together in his stunning finish. The characterizations are excellent and on-target. The author has truly captured the essence of all of our engaging, beloved, resourceful old friends from that Galaxy Far, Far Away, and introduces us to some interesting and compelling new ones. The reader truly connects with these characters who are very REAL, as they face countless dangers and tremendous obstacles. The villains are intelligent, cunning, and surprising; worthy opponents for our favorite heroes and heroines. There is something for everyone in this novel: action, adventure, intrigue, mystery, sacrifice, friendship, humor, politics, heroics, shocking revelations, and valuable lessons learned, all wrapped together in the wonderful surprise package that is this book. VISION OF THE FUTURE is a novel that no "Star Wars" fan should miss! This was without a doubt, the best "Star Wars" book of all, and my personal favorite. I strongly encourage you to resist the powerful temptation to jump ahead or to take a peek at the ending when reading this book. Many things happen all at once at the end and there are some very startling developments. You will be confused and much of the impact will be lost if you give in to the overwhelming desire to read ahead. Trust me: If you read VISION OF THE FUTURE cover to cover without skipping forward, you'll be very glad that you did! Someone shared that advice with me and I was very grateful that she did!

Although the book slows down a bit toward the middle, the ending is intense and filled with action and suspence, I couldn't put it down! An excellent conclusion to Spectre from the best SW author around! A must read!!!! Fans will love the end to, a complete surprise!!!

Review: This is the best book in the star wars galaxy{i've read and own over 50 of them}. I got this book at 8:00 pm{sep 1} and didn't put it down until I finished at 4:30 am. Timothy Zahn has proven himself to be the best at Star Wars. Nolt only does he have a excellant storie line , but he took all the star wars books and brought them together.The way he brings back characters and little facts and makes it all flow. ALL I CAN SAY IS THIS BOOK IS ALSOME IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT GET IT!!!!!!! I won't say anything else, you can read it yourself.

Summary: Staggering. 'nuff said.
Review: Vision of the Future was one of the most involved, intricate, and incredible books I've ever read. There is so much going on in this story that I won't even try to explain it all. Let's just say that it ties up most, if not all of the loose ends that have been in every book so far. Yes, I mean it. It is the perfect end to the Bantam series of books, and the perfect beginning to the new stuff that will be coming from Del Rey. And where things will go from here isn't certain. However, I think it's safe to say that there won't be anymore 'kidnapping the Jedi kids' storylines, or 'an Imperial warlord finds another superweapon, and threatens the New Republic with total destruction' storylines. In conclusion, if you have been tired to the point of nausea of these half hearted books like the Crystal Star, the whole Corellian, and Black Fleet trilogy that aren't worth the paper they're printed on, or even infantile efforts like the Jedi Academy trilogy and Young Jedi Knights series (dear God, please end the last one), but still hold onto that last sliver of hope that the books would become great like they should be, your day has finally come. We can now put those horrible stories behind us with the Star Wars Christmas special and Lando Calrissian books, and enjoy things like all the Zahn stories, the X-Wing series, I, Jedi, and all of the wonderful things that are sure to come. Give it a try, folks. They finally fixed it, and got it right for a change.
