Summary: Zahn Delivers the Goods!
Review: Finally, the second half of Zahn's mammoth Hand of Thrawn story wraps up all the plot threads left dangling in Specter of the Past, and he does so in a most satisfying way--with one small exception. The much-anticipated Luke/Mara coupling is, well, totally passionless. Romance is apparently *not* Zahn's strong suit. I mean, just because the Jedi Code says, "There is no passion..." doesn't mean these two can't have at least a warm tingly feeling in their toes when they kiss. Other than that, we see Leia, Han, Lando and the gang in their finest form, and the bad guys are written with more dimension than ever. The best part is, Zahn has left himself and all Star Wars authors the hint of a chilling menace "out there" to serve as a future antagonist, now that all the New Republic political infighting, Imperial superweapons, clones of the Emporer, etal have become too shopworm to endure. Here's hoping Zahn has a contract with Del Rey!!!!

Summary: Decent book that opens some new windows
Review: I found this book to be a pretty good read. Granted it can never challenge the Heir to the Empire trilogy but it still satisfied me. It was good to see Luke finally get a women, but note the book ended before any wedding took place. The book was a good read that helped the Star Wars galaxy by putting forth a new factor to the New Republic. You have the Hand of Thrawn factor, will they return and help the Empire. You also have the Outer Rim factor, that piece of space that the New Republic and Empire don't know is out there that owes allegiance to Thrawn. What new threats are out there? At a time when the need for good storylines are needed for the Star Wars universe Zahn gives us two. After all how many times can the Empire come back?

Summary: Hand of Thrawn moves Star Wars series in New Direction
Review: Zahn concludes the Hand of Thrawn series with Vision of the Future which brings an end to the con artist Thrawn and has several plot twist. It also ads a few gems which a side story of Yoda versus a dark jedi and introduces use to a new jedi which is neither dark or light. Finally it brings Luke social life to an conclusion. An excellent book

Summary: A strong, respectful finish to the Star Wars/Zahn books.
Review: Finally. The conclusion to yet another agonizing Zahn cliffhanger ending("Specter Of The Past", for those late to the party). And well worth the wait. Zahn weaves together a wonderfully complex story, tying together all the events and characters of not only his own original trilogy, but situations and characters from the other novels that have been left up in the air for years. People, the other reviews said it, and I'm going to say it again. Don't skip ahead! You miss one small chapter, you're going to be scratching your head and then kicking yourself. My only complaint is that I wish there could be one more book, focusing on a couple of elements from "Vison..." that I won't go into here for spoiler reasons. In closing , I think that "Vision..." ranks up there with "Conquerer's Legacy" as Zahn at his best.

Summary: An outstanding read!!!
Review: This was by far the best SW novel written so far. It has all the stuff you expect in any SW novel. Timothy Zahn out did himself with this one. If people didn't like the fist one in the series, that okay because "Vision" makes up for anything you might have thought was missing. Bye it!! Read it!!! You won't put it down!!!

Summary: ZAHN THROWS THE WINNING TOUCHDOWN
Review: This book was easily the best book about anything ever. Extremely startling developments that will keep you up reading all night. I can't even begin to decribe how well-written this book was. If you take my advice and read this book, you won't regret it- but be careful- ONE OF THE REVIEWS IS A SPOILER. BE CAREFUL AND READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: A Neat Little Package
Review: Author Timothy Zahn closes his two-part series The Hand of Thrawn with Vision of the Future. This not only ends a series, but sums up the past fifteen year in the Star Wars Universe. All of the characters, many of whom were created by Zahn in the first place, have their roles and play them splendidly. Vision of the Future takes everything form Zahn's first Star Wars book, Heir to the Empire, plus a few tidbits from an earlier Dark Horse Comics series and weaves a wonderful tale. The stories of the Empire, the New Republic, and all of their characters are presented to the reader in a neat little package.

Summary: Nobody does it better!
Review: Zahn does it again, and write an epic that makes the nine month wait worth the torture. I won't give any of the plot away here (though I'm sure most of you know it already), but but this book. Just be sure you have some spare time to read it; it's a real page turner like Clancy's latest. Even if you don't have spare time, read it anyway. When you're finished, you'll agree...Nobody does it better!

Summary: GREAT BOOK!!!! A MUST FOR ALL FANS OF SCI-FI!!!!!!!
Review: By far Zahns best work in the Star Wars universe. Everything clicks into place perfectly! He wraps up Bantam's line of books perfectly!!! He does leave one loose end but you have to read it to find out what it is. A very well-done book. Star Wars at its best!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: This was, to say the least, absolutely spectacular.
Review: By far, this was the most explosive and action packed book by Timothy Zahn yet. Never have I been so absolutely exhilirated yet shocked at the same time by a book. The secrets finally revealed made my head spin. This is an absolute must-read for any Star Wars fan, and a jolly good ride for anyone else. Pick it up as soon as you can; believe me, you won't regret it.
