Review: Actually, I could have given 0 stars. if I can, even negative. I really didn't like this book. It was boring. On top of every thing, I didn't like the story. I read some other books written by Timothy Zahn. They were splinded. But this book_Vision of the future is boring and also I really did'nt like it. I mean, Luke Skywalker is my favorite character. After I read the Book Children of the Jedi and the planet of Twilight, i expected Luke to marry callista. But I never expected Luke marrying Mara. Not only Callista, but in the Truce at Bacura, he also loved Gariel. Of course, she said about her love to him before he left the place. But Callista never told him that she couldn't love him the way he thinks. Luke was in love with Callista so deeply and also I guess he is still in love with her. I am sure if she returned to him, he would ask her to marry him. The story of Vision of the future was fine. But the only part I didn't like is Luke and Mara getting married. Mara once said in the book about Luke and herself 'we are like two halfs of the same person.' I didn't understand what she ment and i still dont. I mean I know what she meant. but the thing I dont understand is like... since Luke and Mara had met, they always had arguments which could be avoided every time they met. And I really dont know how much Mara cares about Luke. So I really didn't like the idea of Luke marrying Mara.

Review: Thanks reader from Cordova. I was starting to lose hope their for awhile! It was really weird because I had a dream last night that someone answered my review! Review: There will be more Star Wars books. Most of the Star Wars books now are owned by Bantam Spectra. A few of the old ones were by Del Rey- Ballantine. There will be a whole new Star Wars series coming out by Del Rey- Ballantine. The series name will be the "New Jedi Order". It is about an attack from outside the known galalxy. The series will be in Hardcover and paperback. You can get the main story by just reading the hardcovers. The paperbacks are follow ups. Mike Stakpole, the author of the X-Wing books, will right 3 paper backs. There are rumors(That I hope are true) that Tim Zahn will right some of the books. I hope that answers all of your questions. Review: It was ok, because Luke and Mara did get married but the other parts are really boring. My favorite character would be Wedge(but he's just my favorite anyway.)He and Corran have on of the better parts in this book. So there is my review and I hope that THIS book is the last one. Summary: The Picasso of Star Wars
Review: I just put down VotF. WHEW!! Zahn is by far the best of the SW authors. The way he ties storylines from the other books, cleans up the mistakes by other authors, even throws in a little from the films, makes him a genius of Thrawn's caliber. Like many others, the best part has to be the impending marriage of Luke and Mara. I can't begin to express how badly I wanted that to happen. I only wished Zahn would have dabbled a little more into their wedding. I hope beyond hope that Zahn will give us more on Luke and Mara in another novel. Keep up the great work!!

Review: What is up with all of this talk about " a great FINALE" or "Im so sad this is the LAST Star Wars book"? I need answers and I need them quick! Is this the last book like some liars (I hope!) said or is this a beginning of a new Star Wars book frame? Please I need to know or I will die of anticipation of the next book!!!!!!!!! As for the book... It was good and it truley is one of the best Star Wars books yet (I hope that I can say "yet")! Lets hope for more books or Star Wars's fame will not be complete. Summary: A great finale
Review: I've always been a little sceptical of reading follow ups to the Star Wars series, but Timothy Zahn probably does the best job of continuing it faithfully. Specter of the Past promised a great deal, but I have to say that I found it a little disappointing. But I was totally hanging out for the next novel, and I have to say, Vision of the Future doesn't disappoint. Ok, a few bits were maybe a little superfluous, but apart from that it was non stop action - and me not able to put it down for two days. If only all science fiction was likte this! Anyway, the whole gang is back - Han, Leia, Talon Karrde (the incredibly charismatic smuggler), Wedge, Luke and Mara (my favourite character), plus a few new characters. I guess for a new reader, it might seem confusing at times, especially where the story keeps skipping from one place to another, but as usual, Zahn does a great job of pulling the whole thing together. And that Luke and Mara subplot kept me turning the pages when I got a little bored - I was totally rooting for them to get together in the end. The only thing - I was kinda hoping Thrawn really wasn't dead, I thought he was the best villian ever. But now, with the prospect of marriage for Luke and Mara, and Peace between the Empire and the New Republic, is this the end of the series? Maybe it's better to finish it on that high note. Verdict : best book in the series, great plot, and a sequel that really delivers the goods. All you Stars Wars fans out there, you will not be disappointed. May the force be with you.

Summary: I was captured from the first word to the last! (Almost.)
Review: This book is really good, it has a lot of action in it! If every other book was as good as "VISION OF THE FUTURE", I wouldn't need a TV! Some parts of the book were just a little, lets say, maybe just a little boring. But all of the good parts made up for the boring ones! Be ready for some romance, and I was glad that Luke and Mara finally realized that they were not just "good friends". I was waiting for that to happen! I'd like to also tell anyone who is reading this, that some parts of this book might be a little "boring" for somebody that isn't familliar with the characters, and their past. Oh, and I have to say that I kinda admire Grand Admiral Thrawn. He's really smart and cunning.

Summary: O.k is all I can say
Review: Boring! from pages 100-230 it was sooooooo slow. Blah-Blah-Blah- is what is seemed like when I read it. I do have to say the Luke and Mara Jade romance made me want to read on. Im so happy for them but like others I still have to keep my skeptism because we haven't seen the actual wedding. Whouldn't that be cool if Callista came back with force powers and Luke had to pick between Mara and Callista!!!!!! Who whould he pick? I am a little confused here. Is this the last Star Wars book like some people are saying or are there sequals like others are saying? Dear god I hope there are sequals! Zahn cannot just leave us hanging here!
