Review: This is an excellent boook that needs a sequel. Everytime I've been to the bookstore I look just in case by some chance one is there. It can be a stand alone novel, but more will be greatly appreciated. Britain knows how to hook her readers in with a simple, but elegent style of writing, plots, and characters. Perhaps, someday there will be a prequel *hint hint*. Britain has great potential and she is now on my list of authors to always look for in bookstores.

Review: Like many others, I picked this up, expecting a "beach read." What I got was an engrossing story that pulled me in right from the first chapter. A good stand-alone book, but with enough threads left dangling that I look forward to more from this author. Well done!

Review: I love this book, but in the end it left me hanging. It felt there should be more to it like 'did she becomes a Green Rider or did she go and become a merchent?' I was just woundering if there was going to be a a second book to "The Green Rider"? All I have to say is I hope so, becase I would defently buy it and recamend it to someone else to read, it and also the first one. So if anyone at all knows if there is, please post a message.

Review: This light fantasy adventure is nothing if not fun, and the ultimate wish-fulfilment story for every independent little girl who didn't quite fit in. Karigan, a merchant's daughter at a boarding school full of aristocrats, is unjustly expelled for getting into a fight with an arrogant bully, and decides to find her own way home. When she meets a dying messenger on the road, however, she ceases to be a girl who didn't belong and becomes her kingdom's only hope- because the messenger was murdered for the sake of the vital information he carried, and now she has been given the task of carrying it in his place.
In true fantasy tradition, this book features ghosts, monsters, and a magic that is as new to the heroine as it is to the reader. By the end of the story, Karigan has grown as a person, become a personal friend to the king, caught the attention of a handsome aristocrat, and established herself as a hero- all thanks to her good heart and her tough, merchant's spunk.
The story has just enough loose ends to leave readers anxious for a sequel, but not so many that the ending is unsatisfying.

Review: I positively love this book. For a horse crazy teen like me, who also enjoys fantasy, it couldn't get any better. My non-horsie friend also read it, and also enjoyed it. A perfect book for anyone who likes to read. Kristen Britian makes the whole setting so real I found myself galloping alongside Karigan and her horse, enjoying the adventures.

Review: Everyone out there should read this book! It has got to be one of the best books that I have ever read! Its got a little of everything: intrigue, fantasy, fights, a hint at future romance, and much, MUCH more! I can't wait until the sequel to this book comes out because I have to know what will happen next in the story! Once again this is a MUST READ!
